Great value at this price point!
Most of the time, Kukri style knives come in at around $50 with some over at over $100, so at less than $30 with a leather sheath, this chopper/trimmer is a great value. Total length is 15”, with the blade about 9.75”. It weighs in at ~1.3 pounds. Balance is good. Real wood full tang handle with lanyard. Blacked out 3cr13 stainless steel, made in China. Came very sharp, designed as a jungle brush cutter in the Nepal region of India, so well designed to cut trails and clear brush, as well as strong enough to split campfire wood. I like the balance. Would recommend wearing a glove when chopping, unless your hands are well calloused as the tang is very slightly above the wood scales. Shipping was fast, and this knife arrived in top condition! I have a red cedar 6’ log that I need to trim the limb stubble from, it’s first use!

Decent knife
Great knife and feels very good. Came decently sharp and free of any noticeable marks. Works very well on brush! Only downside is bad quality sheath but you get more than what you pay for!

Heavy-duty full-tang survival Kukri knife with leather sheath and a fire starter!
The media could not be loaded. This Kukri-style knife turned out to be better than expected really, I’m pleasantly surprised. For the asking price of less than 50 bucks I did not expect much. This survival knife features a robust 13.77-inch full tang blade made from high-quality 3CR13 steel (52-55 HRC), known for its balance of hardness, corrosion resistance, and moderate toughness. about this steel below. The 9.6-inch blade with a thickness of 5.7 mm provides the perfect balance of strength and manageability at a weight of 569 grams and is attached to a solid wood handle with 2 rivets. The knife’s blade has a smooth wave-like profile, has no serration, and features a swedge at the top. Instead of serration, it has a special area with thinner edge for sharpening and fine cutting. The spine has a square profile with slightly rounded edges that can be used similar to jimping area to apply extra pressure to the knife’s blade. I really like the fact that this knife has a full tang, and only for this I'm telling you that it's worth the high price. The knife feels comfortable in my hand. Sharpness is perfect right out of the box, and its sharpness lasts really long, as I expected. Great balance and a comfortable, ergonomically shaped handle make this Kukri knife a joy to wield and chop with. The knife comes with a durable custom-fitted vertical carry leather sheath. It also has a knife retention buckle, ensuring secure and comfortable carry.FYI, the Kukri (or Khukuri) is a type of machete originating from the Indian subcontinent and is traditionally associated with the Nepali-speaking Gurkhas of Nepal. The knife has a distinct recurve in its blade. It serves multiple purposes as a melee weapon and also as a regular cutting tool throughout most of South Asia.3CR13 steel comes primary from China. It is a martensitic stainless steel with around 13% chromium and 0.3% carbon, offering a balance of hardness, corrosion resistance, and moderate toughness. It's relatively easy to heat-treat, giving it a hardness of around HRC 52-55, and its chromium content provides decent resistance to rust, though it's not as corrosion-resistant as higher-grade steels. This steel is commonly used in budget-friendly knives, cutlery, and tools, where edge retention, sharpenability, and durability are important but cost-efficiency is a priority. While it's not the toughest or hardest steel, it performs well for general-purpose use.Bottomline:If you want a Kukri knife that is both functional and looks great. It’s very well made, very strong and functional, and represents an exceptional choice as a survival tool. It's very affordable, running under $30, and with that you get an excellent full-tang 3CR13 steel knife with wooden handle in a well-designed leather sheath. This is a perfect purchase for yourself or to gift it to someone else. This knife deserves a solid 5 stars from me for its combination of usability, quality, and price.Pros:1. Excellent Kukri style knife.2. Made of 3CR13 steel, 52-55 HRC.3. Full-tang blade, will not break!3. Sharp out of the box, good edge retention.4. Stainless-steel, will not rust.5. Handle is made of solid wood.6. Sturdy and versatile leather sheath.7. Very affordable, less than $30.Cons:1. 3CR13 is not the toughest or hardest steel.

Sharp right out of the sheath
I purchased this as a gift for my 14 y/o, who enjoys collecting blades of all sizes and shapes. We can't vouch for the ease of hacking through brush yet, though I know is the intended job of the Kukri design. However, it feels quite solid in the hand and is a fine-looking piece. It is quite sharp and fits well within the sheath.
