The booster fan is working great . It is blowing a lot more cold air from the air duct and into the room .Excellent booster fan to cool down 2nd floor kid’s room. It is very quiet and effective to boost weak AC cool air, easy to install it and control it via mobile phone not remote control. It is very good value for money.

This register booster fan works really well it keeps my nice and cool and the airflow is super strong and its really quite too. The only thing is it doesn't have an automatic shut off feature when the AC unit shuts off it still runs you have to remember to turn it off,but I would recommend it. I have baseboard register so I build a box for it.

Living in a bilevel house is something we are getting used to. Our bedroom is on the upper floor and was always warm through the summer. Now my room is freezing, just the way my husband likes it. I am a light sleeper and the fan is so quiet! I have not tried the night time mode as I already don't hear it. It fit perfect in our existing vent space 10"×4". When first installed we turned the fan up to 10, it moves the air very nicely for its size.

The Super Quiet Register Booster Fan for 6” x 12” vents has made a big difference in my room. It noticeably improved airflow and even helped lower the room temperature, keeping it much colder and more comfortable. The fan runs very quietly, and you hardly notice it’s on. The only small downside is that every so often I have to go into the app to turn it back on, but overall it’s an excellent product that does exactly what I needed.

As advertised. Very quiet. Easy to install. Easy to use. While the fans are fast, and does pull air up the duct faster than it would do without, there is no seal around the opening, so it will lose some suction due to that (nature of the beast). The temp display is a feature I personally believe I could do without. It is pretty much meaningless as its reading is skewed by the air it is pulling up, not the temp of the room. GENERAL COMMENT (applies to all units/brands like this): Remember, the unit is completing with your main duct system plan that it was build for - to direct air to all ducts. So keep in mind no matter how powerful the fan motors are, a small unit like this will add some comfort, but is competing against the full-size HVAC unit. It will not be a miracle-maker; you will have to gauge your expectations. I rate this 5-stars as i understand the mechanics behind it and know what it realistically can achieve. (Yes, I know I left the film on the display.)

This is a mixed bag. The unit itself IS good at increasing airflow and cooling down an upstairs room in the summer, so that is great. Combined with closing some downstairs vents, I saw big gains in temperature consistency on the different floors of my house.However, this was with running it on high speed all day. And that comes with some major downsides. For one thing, it's very noisy: like a desktop PC while playing some graphics-intensive game. I personally sleep with a white noise machine in the bedroom, so for me this was just added white noise that I couldn't even hear at night, and no one is in the bedroom to mind about this during the daytime.The unit does have a smart mode that ostensibly activates the unit only when the AC (or heat, based on the current configuration) is running. The mechanism for this is fairly clever: it checks the surrounding air temp, and activates when the temperature is below a certain threshold, assuming that to be an indication that the system is running.This sounds nice on paper, but has some flaws in design. For one thing, it is very confusing how to set this up and took me quite a while to understand. Once you figure it out, it's easy to do. But the instructions are a little baffling, partly because of some fairly poor translation (presumably from Chinese).Once set up correctly, I still wasn't able to get good results from this smart mode. The unit temperature was not sufficiently precise or reactive to notice when my AC had switched on.A better design for this unit would instead accommodate an anemometer and monitor ambient air speed. This would require some clever programming to switch off its own fans during measurement, but it would ensure that the fan was always running, even if the HVAC system was running in "fan only" mode -- which this unit currently has no way to detect. That's a shame, because "fan only" would be a great way to passively circulate air at a lower cost.The poor temp control would be manageable, IF it were possible to control this unit with a smart switch. In that case I could manually wire up a system that would switch on this device when the AC was on, and switch it off otherwise. But unfortunately, if this device loses power, and then power is restored, it "forgets" what mode it was in, and remains off until you press a button on the unit or on the remote.For me, that makes this device much less valuable, and I ended up returning it in favor of one that I could control more easily. That said, this is not a bad unit, and if you don't mind these limitations it could work well for you.

Arrived very fast and it’s exactly what I was expecting. Works great! Easy setup, very quiet. light weight, simple temperature adjustments, and fan blows strong. Overall very easy to use. SATISFIED!

Update, they did a software update and now the fan works as advertised. It turns off when the air conditioner shuts off.The fan advertises that it will turn on and off to match your air conditioning cycle. Mine does not do that. I have to manually start it or stop it. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they are aware that there is this issue and they are working on a software update that I will be able to download sometime in the future. Couldn't give me a timeframe. The fan does help pull more cold air into the room but you have to manually turn it on and off on your phone versus it doing it automatically.
