Works great for holding rifle while working on it . I had to remove magazine tube on a shotgun which is Loctite so had to heat up the treads and use a strap wrench to break it free. The vise held it in place no problem. The vise has infit adjustability it can be set at for gun cleaning.

Solid, haven't used it yet, think I'm going to like it. It's not too big, but big enough to mount permanently on my bench.Would recommend it. Good buy for the money.

I soooo needed a vise and 1 company wanted too much $$. I then came across this Tipton vise. I was ecstatic!! Got it all set up and started using it on the rifle i was building. Come to find out the ball joint DOES NOT HOLD. I tried everything to tighten it down..... nothing worked. Sad because the vise, otherwise, is great....

Vise is being used for general gun cleaning and scope mounting. I have used it with various revolvers and long guns with satisfactory results. Build quality is good as long as you know it’s a light duty vise and use it within its limitations. Swivel ball joint function’s well and is strong enough to hold securely at various angles. I particularly like its small footprint and portability, certainly makes it easy for quick maintenance.

Works great for light duty stuff and great angles. For heavy torque or hammering I'd use heavier vice but I like it for what I use it for.

Easy to install, and operate, got my muzzle brake and suppressor installed quick and easy. Also great for barrel cleaning and scope leveling. Very solid.
