I am just learning how to play American Mahjong. I must say this kit is perfect for beginner’s! The quality surpassed my expectations. I love the compact size and that it isn’t too heavy to carry. The quilted straps also are helpful.

Good quality tiles. Easy to read. Like that everything can be stored in one bag. Great beginner set.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is the second set our neighborhood group has purchased. Great quality tiles that are substantial and a good size. We like the clarify of the artwork on the tiles also. The set includes the tiles. 4 racks with pushers, the carrying bag, dice, betting chips, and the fabric velcro wraps for the tile boxes and the racks. The only additional items you need are the cards and the mat. The book is good, but would be much better if it were indexed so that you could easily find key words or rules.

I’m new to this game but obsessed enough to pick it up on Prime Days. My friends who taught me said it had everything I would ever need. The set is beautiful, well made and it all fits into the pretty yet sturdy case.

Bought this as a second set. I’m comparing this set to one from Yellow Mtn. imports with quality tiles, case, and wooden racks. Good price for a complete set of average quality. The tiles are lighter weight than others but the designs are carved in before being painted so they should last. Case and plastic racks feel a little cheap. Will update if they don’t last.

This set is ideal for a regular mahjong player. The price was reasonable and was a Prime Day deal. The only things I added were two inexpensive bags to hold the tiles. The quilted bag was plenty big to hold everything in the set including the two tile bags. I use it regularly.

Very nice, all well padded and I liked the padded inside wrap fabric to roll the tile trays in. So much easier to carry and looks nicer than the previous black carry case. Now, I did purchase the more standard dice, the set had cute little dice, but, my group likes the US size better.

Excellent set. Sturdy bag. Tiles are a good size and engraved. Not sure about the plastic pushers. Time will tell how long they last.

This shipped fast and comes with everything you need to play mahj jongg. Tiles are a nice weight.

This is my second Mahjong set as the first one had to be sent back. The zipper pocket was sewn improperly. The unit was recommended to me from a friend whom plays Mahjong weekly. I have as yet to really get into this game but the set looks great to me. It has everything so far to start my adventure with Mahjong.
