Really solid and reliable PSU.
Really solid PSU. Cables are very good quality and very easy to manage. Currently powering a 9070xt and R7 9700x with absolute ease. Very powerful PSU which provides good value for money with resistors etc which are made in Japan. Looks great with corsairs new FRAME style design for the cooling. Manual knob on the back is of good quality and is nice to know I can ramp up the cooking to increase the stability in long gaming sessions.

Quiet and solid power supply
Had this for a few months now. Power supply is silent, the knob to turn the fan on is pretty cool and obviously makes noise at full but i just leave it on auto, cable quality is great, overall happy. Good product with no issues at all.

Excellent choice at the right price
I recently upgraded my gaming rig with an Intel i7-14700KF processor and an RTX 3060 Ti graphics card, and I needed a power supply that could keep up with the demands of these high-performance components. The Corsair RM850x has proven to be the perfect choice. First and foremost, the fully modular design of this power supply has made cable management a breeze. The ability to only use the cables I need not only keeps the inside of my case tidy but also improves airflow for better overall system performance. Having 3x 8 pin CPU ports is also a nice-to-have, in case I decide to upgrade my motherboard and or CPU at any point. In my opinion, it's very important to purchase a power supply from a reputable brand, known for producing solid power supplies, to ensure that the expensive components you are powering, stay safe, and get the power they need. Investing in a good branded power supply should also help it outlast the other components' lifespan. Running on an Intel i7-14700KF and an RTX 3060 Ti, power efficiency is crucial, and the RM850x with its 80 PLUS Gold certification does not disappoint. It efficiently delivers power to my components, ensuring stable and reliable performance during intense gaming sessions and demanding tasks. Both components have also been overclocked, and the RM850x doesn't break a sweat. The 850 watts of power is more than sufficient for my setup, providing headroom for any potential future upgrades. The power supply operates quietly, and the Zero RPM fan mode ensures that the fan only spins up when needed, keeping noise levels down during lighter loads. Corsair's attention to build quality is evident in the sturdy construction of the RM850x. The components feel durable, and the unit itself exudes reliability. This power supply comes with a 10-year warranty, offering peace of mind and showcasing Corsair's confidence in the longevity of their product. In conclusion, the Corsair RM850x 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular ATX 850 Watt Power Supply is an excellent choice, at the right price. I am certain it's going to last me 10+ years.

Quality & Performance.
Does exactly as it said it should. Very pleased with quality and cabling (see previous review). These are not cheap but it is a false economy building a PC and not making sure you have a strong 'heart' for it . More than capable of running my system and very quiet in use

excellent quality, just the fan can be noisy if speed not turned down
Great quality power supply. Fully modular, easy to install, high quality cables with cable combs. Length of included cables seems comfortably sufficient for standard size ATX cases. Has a knob to control the fan speed. You'll want to turn this all the way down (not off) because the fan can get a bit noisy if you turn it up. I think it should be configured by default to spin the fan as little as possible, or have a better quality fan included that doesn't quite make so much noise. Besides the potential noise (which you can easily eliminate via the knob in the back), worth its price.

Rm1000x vs rm1000e
Replaced my rm1000e with this model rm1000x due to the l famous clicking cracking sound, I lastest 6 months of listening to it pop unit I eventually cracked and couldn't take it and so brought this, straight away you notice a big quality improvement just by holding both power supply's, its obvious the rm1000x has better materials, its installed and works fantastic, no sounds, wires are type 4, should have got this model to begin with.
