Behaviour Balance Liquid DMG (12oz) - Da Vinci/Foodscience

My son has been diagnosed with autism and when he was younger he would often be unsettled and easily upset. He has been taking this for the last 8 months and he has been making excellent progress. He is much more confident and settled. One thing to note is that he only takes one teaspoon per day, much less than the recommendation on the bottle, as there are very high levels of Vitamin B in it. It also affected his sleep for the first month, but he is now sleeping right through the night.

No diffrence in behaviour. Wont be buying again.

Well, it seems pretty good stuff, as my 3y.o. autistic son does'nt wake up in bad mood anymore( as he did before he was taking this product). But , I might be wrong, but I think this product made him a little bit hyper. As when he started to use this, his so active on evenings.. jumping on the sofa, trying to dance on the table etc.. hovewer, he seems pretty happy during this... I already used 3 bottles and will continue do give it to my child. The price pretty expensive, as it contains 48 doses,but you need to give it twice a day, so that makes this bottle to last 24 days..Taste is good, had no problem with giving this to my son.

It's too early to tell of any major changes in my child I've only been giving to him for 3+ weeks, but I must say theres slight change in his concentration he sits down to watch TV rather then jumping and running around I'll definitely keep up with this supplement hopefully there will be more positive changes to come.

I READ ABOUT THIS ON ONE OF THE MANY AUTISM RELATED SITES I VISITED, IT CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. SO WE HAVE TRIED IT ON OUR NON VERBAL 3YR OLD GRANDSON. SO FAR HE DOESN'T MIND THE CHERRY FLAVOUR OF IT, AND HIS SPEECH WHICH WAS ONE WORD SENTENCES HAS INCREASED TO FIVE WORDS. NOW WETHER IT IS HIS SPEECH THERAPY SINKING IN AFTER SEVEN MONTHS AT IT OR THE MEDICINE WHICH HE HAS BEEN ON APPROX. 6 WEEKS I'M NOT SURE, BUT IT SEEMS A COINCIDENCE THAT HIS SPEECH HAS COME ON SO QUICKLY SINCE HE HAS BEEN TAKING IT. ANYWAY I HAVE JUST ORDERED THE SECOND BOTTLE, AS WITH ALL THE GOOD STUFF IN IT SURELY IT CAN ONLY DO GOOD? HIS LITTLE TANTRUMS DON'T SEEM SO FREQUENT BUT HE HAS HIS MOMENTS!!! OF COURSE IT IS PRICEY BUT LASTS ABOUT 6WKS WITH HIS DOSAGE OF 7ML. WE ARE TRYING DIFFERENT THINGS TO HELP HIM WITH AUTISM BUT THIS STUFF SEEMS TO HAVE HAD ACTUAL RESULTS... we'll see how the next bottle goes down.

I don't normally write reviews but I am totally amazed at what this supplement has done for my son who has autism. Against my better judgement I had no choice but to try anti depressants & anti psychotic meds for my son but he reacted very badly to them so could not continue. I was told about this supplement & thought it would not harm to at least try it. 2 weeks in and I have seen a huge improvement in my sons behaviour his social interaction his anxiety and overall he is a more relaxed happy young man. It may be a coincidence but I do not think so I think is supplement has worked wonders for him

Flavour has made it unpalatable and difficult to consume

Excellent since my son is having this supplement his mood is much better, he is having 90 % less tantrums than he used to have and also he is no bitting his nails anymore, is following more instructions, listening and his speech jumped from one or two words to 5 words.. He does not talk all the time just when he needs something but definitely his speech is getting better and we are having a better communication. I am quiet happy with this supplement and going to buy my second bottle.

I know that if you have bought this product, you are trying to help kids along a broad spectrum of behavior problems. Mine happened to be for a nephew who has a,mild form of autism, where he is good with interaction among the family, and even his teachers, but he lacks a good command of his speech, which causes him to be shy and introverted. I got this for him. The taste was fine, and it was easy for him to get into the habit of taking it 3 times a day. I think the taste helped him get into the groove of taking it. Now for the better part, he was more engaging. I believe so, and my mother and sister who are around him a lot more did also. The bottle is for a month supply at 3 times a day, and we enjoyed it more than him. It may be wishful thinking, but it gave him a little something more once the liquid was his body enough to make a difference. If you know anything about vitamins, minerals, and cleated metals, you will find a good amount of them in this behavior balance-DMG liquid. From here I'm going to try something different, not because we didn't like it, but we feel before his body gets too use to the same mixture of vitamins, we'll give him a 2 part treatment also offered, at AMAZON, in hopes his body will take another step in the right direction. Have tried other things, but it was too hard to fin them all in one, and at the proper proportions so they have a true synergistic effect. Found it elsewhere, but as always, Amazon had the right price, with the best delivery time. Ready to try the next treatment. Again something you can find else where, but not for this price or speed of delivery.

I would recommend this product hands down. I have a foster kiddo ( 4 YO) who has behavior issues due to trauma, and this helps calm him down and allow him to think about what he is doing. He has been on it for a week, and he did not have any incident reports at school. He told me that he is able to turn it around when he starts to get mad.

There's some good and some bad, and thankfully we were able to find a work-around for the bad. Good: We could definitely tell a difference in our young son who has HFA and (suspected) mild ADHD. At his age (seven) we're not interested in medicating him (via prescription drugs), so have been researching holistic/vitamin/organic alternatives. His overall mood, composure, and irritability improved on the DMG. HOWEVER (the bad part), the taste/smell is unbearable. Very fish-oily. There is no way he could ever be expected to take it by itself. For awhile (the first two bottles) we mixed it in with a little chocolate milk, and for the most part that worked. However, the third bottle we ordered had a slightly stronger smell/taste, and at the point even the mixture via chocolate milk was a no-go. As a result we discontinued giving it to him for about three weeks, and we could tell the difference, unfortunately. Among our other research it was determined that children on the spectrum (and/or with ADHD) sometimes need more B6, Calcium, and Magnesium (based on how their brains produce/synthesize chemicals, and so forth). Our saving grace has been "Tropical Oasis Liquid Calcium and Magnesium" (purchased here on Amazon). It has a sweet, citrus taste. We are now able to make a blend (that he takes via an oral syringe) that consists of roughly 1 ml of liquid B Complex (don't remember the brand right off hand, but it is red and was purchased at CVS), 3-4 ml of DMG, and 5-6 ml of the Tropical Oasis. We administer it twice a day, at breakfast and dinner. We started back up with the DMG in this fashion about a week ago, and once again the improvements have been noticeable and positive. (and he has not once complained about the taste/smell) So just some suggestions for parents who might be finding a difficult time even getting their kids to try this stuff. Every kid is different, obviously, and while the product is expensive (and for us lasts about a month), we're glad we tried it.

Both of my identical twin boys were diagnosed with autism last Oct. Since then I've done my homework when it comes to vitamins and supplements in regards to asd individuals. I added this to their daily stack and saw a noticeable improvement within days. Not claiming it as a cure-all by any means, I work very hard everyday with them and along with early education schooling ( they'll be 4in Sept) they are finally progressing, communicating needs/wants, using new words everyday and now sentences too. We actually ran out recently and within a few days tantrums increased and their level of frustration with not being able to communicate did too. I would definitely recommend this product. I love that it's liquid too, we mix in with orange juice.

My daughter was having behavioral issues in school and for the longest we couldn't figure out why. I tried this product because I thought maybe she had some emotional difficulties. Turns out it was environmental, not mental :-) She is in a bilingual class and she is so stressed and dissinterested in learning a second language that she acted out and threw tantrums when her teacher tried to teach her the curriculum. Once they stopped teaching her in the second language and started only teaching her in english, she has become an angel. . . . sort of LoL So, if you are having issues with a child not diagnosed with an issue, it may not be mental, it may just be something making them upset.
