A super fun alternative to chocolate advant calendars

What can I say—it’s LEGO, which usually means great quality paired with a higher price. My kids have been hooked on these LEGO Advent Calendars for years, and opening each day’s build is always the first thing they do when they wake up throughout December. It’s definitely become a yearly tradition in our house. That said, the set does feel a bit scarce on minifigures for the cost. Several of the days are filled with very simple accessories, some of which aren’t particularly exciting (think a garbage can with a banana peel). The overall experience is still fun, but the “wow” factor of some days is hit-or-miss. Another drawback is the instructions. They’re printed on the inside of each door and often consist of just a tiny picture with a couple of arrows. A few builds have been surprisingly challenging to interpret based on the limited guidance. I bought this for my little brother (13 year old) for Christmas and he loved it!! Who doesn't love a new pack of legos and especially when each day is a surprise. He was excited each day to open a new pack! Perfect gift for younger kids/preteens who love legos and Spider-man!
