Very close to a vanilla Android experience, and with built in Qi2 charging (the first android to offer it built in). The battery life isn't as good as competitors however that because the phone has been made easily repairable at home, and the battery is user replaceable. With convenient magnetic wireless charging, the slightly lower capacity battery isn't noticeable in daily use - it charges in the car mount nicely for a topup. The build quality seems good, it feels well built and it hasn't suffered any scratches in the three weeks I've been using it. The shape takes a little time to get used to with it's squared off corners, but it looks good. Size wise, it is fairly standard for a modern smartphone. It is a little expensive for what it is, for me, the ability to replace parts easily outweighs this as it should offer a longer service life. I would not recommend the official HMD case, it adds too much bulk to the phone and wireless charging does suffer which is unfortunate given it is an official case that retails for £30!
