I have a cabin. It has plumbing but no hot water heater. After looking at prices I decided to give this a shot. I left it in the bathtub for 45 minutes. My bath was not cold nor hot but comfortable the entire time. I was not cold at all. This will be a great way to take a warm bath when at my cabin.

This water heater wand is a good pickup for small to medium projects. It's perfect to heat up a 5 gallon bucket quickly. As the container gets larger, it will take longer until you reach equilibrium and the water cools at the same rate this heats. I'm having some success with a small plunge tub, as it performs well enough to heat that volume of water up a bit, with an insulated cover. I suppose you could try it with a small kiddie pool also, just need to make sure it's not contacting the plastic. I would absolutely love it, if it had some sort of upright stand to keep it in place and from moving around. This would eliminate my fear if it melting the plastic container. I'm sure I will probably figure something out eventually. The on/off switch is nice, as similiar items may not have this. The included thermometer is a nice bonus, though it looks as if it was from something else, as it has sort of a panel mount around it. It works well enough though. All in all it's a good value for the price. I just wish it has some way to affix it to something to stop moving in the water.

I plan to combine this with a portable shower pump and a bucket of water to have a hot (or at least warm) shower while camping. I haven't had the chance to actually fully test that yet, but I've tested the heater in a bucket of water at home and it doesn't take too long to warm up.

I filled a large tub with water I placed the device into the water - it was well submerged - plugged in, flip the on button - Nothing, Nada, Nope, doesn't work- it has been in the water since 3 pm; it is past 10pm...maybe I jinxed it, cuz I've already ordered from different brand- I just had a feeling that I was gonna get ripped off, so I ordered another 😶👎👎 do Not buy! it Doesn't work!!

I already took down our mini pool for the summer, so I tested it on a small amount of water in my kitchen skin to ensure it works well for next summer. I am really pleased. It heated the water 30 degrees in 10 minutes. To use, it is simple: submerge piece in water, plug in, and turn on. The enclosed thermometer works great and helps you know the temperature since you absolutely cannot put your hand in the water while it is plugged in for fear of being electrocuted. I really like that there is an on/off switch so you can absolutely control when the heater is on and off for utmost safety.CONS - I wound prefer a longer cord. Also, the warning information included in the product concerned me as I am not sure how to ensure my extension cords are the correct gauge.OVERALL - This AUKITEY immersion water heater is wonderful to have on hand to warm your water for swimming or camping purposes.Thank you for reading my review!

This immersion heater is a dream tool! I didn't' even realize they existed!!! I do a variety of projects in my garage shop, where there's no running water, and some things need warm or hot water, so I've simply avoided doing those tasks in the past. Now, it's EASY! I can fill a bucket with water from the outside spigot, pop in the immersion heater, and enjoy the wonders of having warm water to use in my shop! Detergents tend to work a lot better in warmer water, and I've found that to be very true. On top of that, no more aching hands from immersing them into cold water! I think I'll order another one just to have an extra on hand!

On a farm you use water heaters all night long in the winters of the north.Can't have enough of them. But this one has a switch on it, which is a great upgrade from the older types.It also has a thermostat, which makes it easy to switch the heater off at a certain temperature & put it in the next bucket & keep moving.The wattage is very good for how we use this, so no complaints!The price is good, but it's always good to shop around first if you're new to water heaters for buckets, etc.

This immersion water heater does the job, but I expected it to heat the water a bit quicker. It’s fine for small tasks, but it doesn't seem as fast as advertised. I also wish there was something to secure it to the side or bottom of a bucket or tub—it tends to float around, which is a bit inconvenient. The switch control is a nice feature, though, and it’s portable enough for different uses. Overall, it’s just okay.
