God send
I am a serious suffer of gastric problems I can be sick up to three to four weeks of constant vomiting. These bags are a god send it presents no leaks no matter the amount I bring up, very hygiene friendly with the tie up top. I carry them with me everywhere I go. Now my youngest has been diagnosed with a lesser illness we keep one in this school bag and jacket pocket just in case he has to use the. Saved me hours of scrubbing vomit from clothing and embarrassing clean ups at work (one can clean up the spill but never get rid of the sickly smell in the bathroom for the next person). I use to use the hospital sick bowls but I kept dropping them as after a point I found them to heavy to hold. This illness makes me very weak and I have yet to drop a bag due to its weight. Over all a solid bag. God send.

VeryHandy for the Car.
As a Chauffer, i have a few Clients that get car sick and since getting these items i have had to use them, they are very affective and the absorbant pad is amazing it holds a lot of "Stuff" and seems to prevent the smell. it has drawstring top to seal the bag after use. very useful for anyone. would by again.

No leakage whatsoever Great bags
I keep a couple in my car just in case and I’m glad I do as after collecting my teenage son from hanging out with his mates he got in the car feeling queasy after being spun round on a kiddies spinning bucket chair thingie. Bad idea he said. Anyway on the way home he said he thought he was going to be sick so I passed him a bag and sick he most certainly was. Big time! The bag held everything and believe me there was a lot! No leakage and The draw string is great meaning it stayed in the bag and not all over my car until we were able to dispose of it properly.

Fab product! Life saver
Never thought I’d find myself reviewing a sick bag. Got these for car journeys and 4 and 6 year old are often unwell. Had to use them a few times and they’re so handy! 4 year old initially thought it was to place on her lap so she could hurl all over her knees and keep her leggings clean. Once I’d explained what to do she got the hang of it and they did a great job of containing all the yuck... only given 4 stars and some younger children could do with a ring/hoop to hold the bag open but my 4 year old managed it once I’d shown her. They’re pretty big so capable of holding a lot and it’s great to tie it up and chuck it. Saved me a lot of hassle and made the kids feel better having them. I also now keep some in backpack and airing cupboard for emergencies.

Hopefully, never needed but problem solved if I do need them.
I had a dreadful episode of throwing up beside a bus stop. Not sure what caused it but it would have been much worse if it happened on the bus. I didn't even have a carrier bag, I had to leave the mess for people to hopefully avoid. This was the first time it happened outside but I occassionally have instant sickness in the house. Problem solved with these bags. I keep one by my armchair and a couple in my man bag and another couple beside my bed - just in case it is needed. These bags have an absorbant pad thing to soak up the liquids, a draw string to keep it closed and easy to dispose of. Hopefully I'll never use them but if I do, I'll be glad I have them. ***Update*** I was so glad I took these with me when I went to Morrisons for breakfast this morning. I had only managed a forkfull when I suddenly realised I was going to be sick. It was utterly embarasing. No time to dash to the toilet. Fortunately I had a sick bag in my man bag and pulled it out. The bag was fit for purpose. Large enough to take the contents of my stomach, the absorbant pad soaked up the vomit and the drawstring to keep it tightly closed until I could dispose of it properly. The sick bag was great, it did what was expected. I now need to wait until Monday to see the doc as to why I'm being sick.

Perfect for the job
My 11 year old who's suffered from severe TS throughout his life( poor thing) took these on a school trip to France and they were indispensable. Paper vomit bags (filched from our frequent plane rides abroad) tend to perish in his pockets, but these plastic ones with the gel inner were just perfect for him, also being very handy for a particularly stomach churning ride in EuroDisney! You won't regret buying them, even though they're quite pricey.

Wish I’d bought these years ago
Bought these for my car sick 8 year old in the hope of being able to discard the bowl we’ve carried about in the car for years. Glad we did. Great bags that contain everything. Have given a few to friends for emergencies and one whose son was going on a school trip but didn’t want to take a bowl on the bus but was happy to take one of these bags as more discreet. Glad to be shot of the bowl and wish I’d got these years ago.

Never used!
So far not used. Seem to work well as a magic spell insofar as since I bought them no-one has chundered in my car! =;0)

Semplicemente perfetti. Manengono ciò che promettono. Nessun odore sgradevole, nessuna perdita. Sorprendenti. Sono anche molto facili da tenere perché sottili. Facilissimi da richiudere. Aggiungo: sono facilissimi da portar dietro. Mia figlia soffre spesso di questo problema. Prima ero sempre in difficoltà, adesso è tutto semplice, e pulito.

When we left the hospital after having our second child, I made sure to grab a few of the blue emesis bags to keep in our vehicles. Fortunately, we've never had to use them, but a few weeks ago, we felt the need to move one to the diaper bag, just in case. In that little bit of moving, the bag unfolded and simply can't be packed as tightly as it originally was. I decided there must a better solution, so I checked Amazon and sure enough, I found these. I haven't had the need to use these, but just handling them, I'm sure they will fit my needs better than the emesis bags. For starters, they are flat enough that I can store them in the seat pockets of the car (With the plastic ring, the emesis bags had to stay in the console). They are about 1/16 thick and 5" x 9", when folded in half. The plastic bag portion is made of plastic that is thicker than a quality kitchen trash can liner, but not quite as thick as a heavy-duty contractor's trash bag. I don't have any concerns about these tearing while stored in a seat pocket with books, headphones or any other non-sharp objects that might occasionally slide against these bags in either the seat pockets, or a diaper bag. At this point, I was going to say that I was too frugal to "waste" a bag by testing it; however, at less than a dollar/bag and 20 bags/box, I pressed pause on my review and headed for the kitchen. 1 1/2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of white vinegar went into the bag. No leaks, but the absorbency was not immediate. I left the bag in the sink, and when I checked on it 15 minutes later. I'd say nearly all of the water was absorbed. When I shook the bag, there was no sloshing whatsoever, but I wouldn't want to hold this thing upside-down either. The vinegar smell right down at the bag was still present, but much less intense. I pulled the draw strings tight and was satisfied with the durability of the bag to withstand a force-fully tight tie-off. Overall I'm confident these bags will do the job. With their thin profile and low cost per bag, I will not only be using them in the cars, but I will be strategically placing them around the house as well. Young kids can provide little to no warning before vomiting, and these cheap, simple bags can be discretely placed within reach in a lot of places.

I suffer from cyclic vomiting syndrome and prior to buying these bags I lived in fear of leaving my house when I was having an episode or if I might. These bags are SO handy and work great. They fold up small enough to fit in even my smallest purse or the zipper pocket of any bag - to avoid holes from wear and tear (since I take them with me always) I fold them and put them in a small plastic zip bag. I always have one on me, it's convenient, and it works! About to buy my second box!
