Somewhat Different from Other Cordless Brad Nailers, but an Impressive Tool!
There are a lot of 18 gauge cordless brad nailers on the market now. This one is a little different. Many of them require just a brief pause between depressing the safety > pulling the trigger > the compressor starts and then the nail fires. This one is different in that first you power the unit on and in single shot mode you push down the safety tip on the surface, the compressor charges up at that moment and you pull the trigger anytime thereafter to fire a single nail. This a little strange because if you need to reposition a couple times, the compressor in the tool will fire up each time, but you don't end up shooting a nail in those instances. Its not a lot different from the sequence of other nailers, but there is a short learning curve to get used to it. In bump nailing mode it is a little more intuitive. After powering on, and switching to that mode (each time you power it on, the tool is in single shot mode by default), you simply hold the trigger, the compressor will remain active, and will fire the nail each time to depress the safety tip to the surface of the work piece. In this mode it was able to fire nail after nail just like a regular pneumatic brad nailer without pause or hesitation! I am pretty impressed! I've only just started using this, but thus far I haven't had a single jam or misfire. That said, I do like the fact that this (like others) has a tool free jam release lever. It is comfortable in the hand, though arguable little weighty at 7 lbs 5 oz with the 2 ah battery (included in the kit). The charger is also included in the kit along with a Bosch branded canvas tool bag to carry & store everything. If you already have Bosch cordless tools, this is a must-have for your arsenal. If you don't have Bosch cordless tools yet, this nailer might be impressive enough to reconsider that fact!

Quiet and fast
The media could not be loaded. I have no cons for this other than weight and a little getting used to the power button. I have so many tools that have a safety switch that needs depressed to operate that I kept turning it off and on. The good thing is, this is a one touch on and it stays on. The bad news for me was not constantly turning it off because of force of habit. That aside, this is a really nice nailer. I purposefully set this up without the instruction manual and it's really straightforward. Setting the depth, inserting nails, figuring out how to open it up for service/clear jams is all easy and straightforward. The depth setting wheel is easy to use and it's foolproof though it's a little finicky. I had a few times after I adjusted where it failed to feed. Fortunately it didn't jam, it just didn't feed. Opening the top up to check for jamming is easy and needs no tools.Speed is great, can pretty much pound nails one right after the other with little to no time between. Its able to easily bury the head so you don't have to go back and drive them deeper.Noise level is very low. Even in a closet or tight space you won't need hearing protection. This is where this really stands out over air nailers. My favorite part of this is it leaves no markings in your material, something all of my air nailers do. Very impressed.Battery life seems great. I ran about 100 nails through this and it didn't make a dent in my 2ah battery. This is nice because I'd want to run as small of a matter as I could since this is already plenty heavy which bring me to the size and weight. Its heavy and big for an 18 guage nailer. If you dont need to use this heavily for extended periods of time and you aren't in a shop with a dedicated air source... then this is absolutely perfect. The weight is quite real on this tool weighing almost 7.5 lbs and it's almost as big as a framing nailer.Overall quality is great. The plastics and rubber feel as good if not better than my milwaukee tools.Overall, I think it's a great tool and perfect for someone that only drives a few nails at a time. Also great if you have a customer that works from home or has small children and wants to keep job noise down. If you're the trim guy and using this for hours , I'd suggest sticking with air and a much smaller pneumatic nailer. The weight and size would get tiresome day in and day out though still lighter than lugging around a pancake compressor.

Bosch Quality, perhaps a bit heavy
As I would expect from Bosch, just like my other Bosch tools, this one is made very well. My first thoughts went to the weight of the nailer. It is a bit heavy to hold sideways for nailing baseboards or similar, however the convenience of not having to set up an air compressor, hose, etc. is truly where this shines. Some of the features are interesting, such as dry-fire lockout. When it gets down to 5 nails, it stops working to prevent such. I really like this because in using an air-nailer, you could go a few times before realizing you're out, having to go back and redo them. The depth adjustment on the size is very easy to use, the head of the nailer is small and allows you to get into small areas, so long as the body can fit in the same area. In this case, an air nailer may reign since this is about 6" taller than my air equivalent.Overall, not having to use air makes this a most wonderful tool, and in my use of it thus far, it has performed as expected, if not better. The battery seems to last quite some time, I have not exhausted it yet.

Efficient and Powerful
This nailer is lightweight, easy enough to handle and control. Battery life so far is adequate, haven’t run it completely down yet. Depth adjustment is easy as is reloading the brad magazine which stops firing when near empty. Battery release is smooth and recoil is minimal. The minimal recoil is very important to make sure the nails going in accurately and straight. No jams yet. The front of the nailer is small and can get in tighter space, compared to my Ryobi nailer. The kit comes with battery and charger as well as a tote, which has everything needed. The manufacture quality is very good.

Great product, Bosch quality
The media could not be loaded. I like the quality of Bosch tools and this nailer is very well made. The weight is on par with other named nailers. I like the length of fasteners I can use; from 5/8 - to - 2 inches. And I think the balance makes it easy to handle with one hand. I easily will have and use this 18 gauge Brad nailer. Another item I like is the easy depth of nail drive, by just using the thumb knurled roller wheel. The 2.0 AH battery lasted a long time and after a hundred plus nail drives still showed a full charge on the indicator lights on the battery. Just a super product.
