Works as a Tape Measure, Less So As A Visually Impaired Aid
As a flexible tape measure this product works great and the mechanism that extends and rolls up the tape measure works well and I haven't had any issues with it. As a braille tape measure, I don't think this tape measure is much use. The notches are not labeled in anyway meaning if you are blind you will have to count the regularly spaced notches. For small objects this is fine, but anything bigger than a few centimeters becomes a challenge. Additionally, just keep in mind that while inches are on the tape measure, the notches line up with centimeters.

Pretty Much As Described
Alright. I'll come clean. No one here is blind. Yet. However, at least one of us has had to work in the dark a time of two and wished for a tape like this one. So, ordering it wasn't much of a challenge. Shipment and delivery required 4 days which matched the delivery estimate. The tape looked to be unblemished. It works pretty much like a regular tape measure: Except it has a plastic tape, spring-loaded, inside a disc-shaped box. However, this tape is graduated in multiple ways: A center hole for every centimeter, a single edge notch for every fifth centimeter and a double notch for every tenth centimeter. The mechanism works very well. However, you might have noticed an absence of what, for most in this country, is an important word: Inch. Oh, there are inches, apparently as an after-thought, on the reverse side of the tape. Problem is, the notches and holes only correspond to an inch measurement here and there, by happen stance. This may be as designed and as described but it's not as desired in my case. I'll rate it as "OK" given the first two.
