Restore Compact Foam Roller, 12-Inch

I needed a smaller sized foam roller, I often find the standard sizes are too big for me. This one is perfect for my back, easy on the legs, works exactly the way I wanted! It's comfortable and not too firm, I also like that the texture is more smooth. I have another roller that is bumpy and I don't enjoy it as much compared to this one. Definitely recommend this roller!

Perfect for travel

I always travel with a foam roller and mat. I replaced a small version of the excellent Trigger point roller I’ve been using for years with this one because it’s smaller and lighter. It does the trick nicely, especially if you’re trying to travel as light as you can.

I use this size roller every day to roll out my spine and loosen my neck. It fits perfectly in the nape of my neck. I have a heavier one I used to travel with but this is lighter and a little shorter. So happy with this purchase.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the product and find it deserving of a 4-star rating, although there are a few aspects that didn't quite meet my expectations.Firstly, the positives: The size of the foam roller is just right, especially for someone who needs a compact, on-the-go tool. Its lightweight nature makes it incredibly convenient to carry to the gym or when traveling. In terms of functionality, it does a decent job of improving flexibility and alleviating muscle pain and soreness. After using it for a few days, I noticed a significant improvement in my muscle recovery time, which is a big plus.However, there are a couple of areas where the foam roller falls short. The most noticeable is the stiffness of the foam. I was hoping for a firmer texture that could provide more intense pressure on tight muscles. While it's effective to an extent, those who prefer a firmer roller might find this one a bit too soft for deep tissue work.Another minor issue is the color of the product. The roller I received is more of a blue/green shade, differing from the color shown in the listing. While this doesn't affect the roller's performance, it's worth mentioning for those who are particular about the aesthetics of their workout gear.In conclusion, the Gaiam Restore Compact Foam Roller is a good choice for anyone looking for a lightweight and portable solution to muscle recovery. I was looking for a form roller and I took a shot with this one and it is really nice. In my opinion it works better for me than the hollow rollers.

I've laid down and rolled on so many different things to try to help out my back and neck. This is the only one that seems to work! Bought for my boyfriend for Xmas, but keep using it so am getting my own.
