Not as bad as reviews are stating. I realized it works based on the light in the room. So if its too dark in the room, the puzzles dont go off. Once there's enough light, the puzzle works just fine.

My toddler loves this, great for little ones to play and learn with. They really hit the notes on some of the songs 😂. Love the songs that it sings as she learns to take the small pegs and pieces in and out working on her fine motor and visual motor skills. The illustrations are spot on. The price point is way cheaper than in store. Great sturdy quality.

The speaker is terrible and sounds shockingly bad / low quality And it doesn’t really work 9 times out 10 ???? As in, most of the time the songs don’t even play when you take the puzzle piece out no matter how much you try Awful toy, poorly made, and nothing like the Melissa and Doug quality of like …. All their other toys Disappointing toy

Came in great shape. I love that it has a song for each piece! My daughter is obsessed with Ms. Rachel, and the product has made her so happy! Its worked great from the very beginning.

My daughter loves this puzzle. I get why some people left not so great reviews but as long as your in a well-lit area, it works perfectly. It's a very fun puzzle and your child gets to listen to some Ms. Rachel songs which is a win-win for my baby.

This puzzle is cute and works well. However, it works the opposite of all other Melissa & Doug puzzles we have. The sound turns on when you remove the puzzle piece which seems to defeat the purpose of the puzzle. We gave it 4 stars because our daughter still loves it.

Cute puzzle but music does not work at all. I added brand new batteries and the music did not play when taking puzzle pieces out or putting them back in. I’ve gotten it to play a few seconds of a song one time by shaking the puzzle board, but even then the music sounded very muffled and scratchy . My toddler loves ms Rachel and recognized the characters without the music and enjoys it nonetheless but not worth it for the price in my opinion if it only acts as a basic puzzle.

Great size, good quality, great educational tool for toddlers. We love the songs. Greta value for the price. Note you do need to add two AAA batteries.

Looks great, perfect difficulty level for my 17 month old and we love Ms Rachel songs. However, unlike other Melissa and Doug sound puzzles the music plays only when the puzzle piece is removed. This defeats the purpose of the puzzle, it should be when the piece is put back into place.

I was waiting to surprise my boy when it arrived i put like so many different batteries inside and didn’t work

When I first received the item, I expected the sound to play once it was attached, but it actually works differently. The sound is triggered when the picture is removed, and any picture can activate the sound when waved over the engraved area. I really love the technology and the sound quality! However, I do feel it’s slightly overpriced, especially since the sound stopped working after it wasn’t used for a while.

Really great puzzle!!! I like that it uses AAAs instead of button batteries. It’s colourful and the sound is clear. My almost 3 year old loves this! It does need a light on or some sunlight but I have no issue with that - works great!! Very cute. Pricey but worth it :)
