Like many others I'm sure, I was pretty weary about whether this actually worked. When I first got my wands, I cleaned them and placed one in my Brita filter. Luckily, I work at a pool so I snagged one of our pH indicator solutions and tested my water and my water pH came to be between 8-8.5. The longer you leave the wand in your water, the higher the pH will rise. This is also stated in the directions on a little rolled-up sheet with each wand. I hope this helps anyone who was indecisive about whether or not to purchase this product!

I buy reverse osmosis water from the grocery store and use a nationwide known delivery water service at work. I tested them both with a ph test home kit. The water from the grocery store had a slightly acidic level and would be alkalined within a 30min period of the sticks. The water from the delivery service was EXTREMELY acidic and even after being submerged in the stick overnight, it would never come to an alkaline level. The sticks do work, and I've become even pickier about the water source I use. I reccomend buying a ph test kit with these and test your water sources as well.

I love these Alkaline alkaline sticks! I’ve bought them twice already & going to buy another set soon!I can dramatically taste a difference when I let the Alkaline stick sit in the water for 20 minutes! It taste so refreshing like spa water; clean taste.

Works but I didn't like not having any way to know how much or how little it did to water.

I couldn't believe that these were so cheap and they actually work great. I use 1 in a 1/2 a gallon container shake it for 60-90 seconds then pop it in the fridge and it's perfect. I have used this filter for about 15 gallons of water total and it still test at over 8 without any boosters. I will certainly buy from them again. Although it probably will be some time off because I bought a few.

These work perfectly in water bottles to help change the alkalinity. People look at you a little strangely, but who cares. And if you use them in an opaque bottle, no one knows. There's no real flavor added to the water but I used a PH testing kit and it indeed does work.

I placed this item in water as per instructions. I left in water for varying times and all times water did not alkalize. One very curious this did happen. Upon removing these sticks from water. I tested the Ph of the water. Water became extremely acidic. Sticks had the opposite affect as advertised. I contacted amazon and had no recourse but to return this item. I had never before used alkalizing products so, i suppose i was just gullible.
