If you come up with a partial number, round up to the next even number. For the chest, measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.

Lightweight and Warm, Dog Fur No Problem
Columbia is known for quality and this jacket does not disappoint. There's a soft fleece lining with an outer layer that blocks wind. It's perfect sizing that for me (5'7", 130 lbs) it isn't too large that it hangs when worn alone, but is large enough to easily fit a hoodie/sweatshirt/sweater underneath for maximum warmth with layering. It doesn't make any sound during movement, doesn't have any smell, has large enough pockets to fit a smartphone, and has long sleeves so a long-armed person like me will have enough coverage.I also appreciate that the outer layer is made of material that, while does collect some dog hair, is very easy to wipe away without need for a lint brush, which was something I was looking for.

comfortable on the body.
After a month of use, I can confirm that the boxer briefs are of very high quality, made of clean material, do not cause itchy skin, and are really very comfortable on the body. Highly recommended.

Love it!
Yes it’s warm and very comfortable. I’m 5’3 and I weigh around 195. I go up and down in weight. I wanted a jacket that that wasn’t bulky and had a nice fit. This jacket was perfect. I ordered an XL. It is a bit big, but it’s big enough to fit even a sweater under it or not. It fits perfect around my chest area.

alien arms but sturdy
these soft shells are great. i bought one for my son in youth large and it fit me, was a great weight, very useful, repels water like a duck....so i bought myself a women’s small based on my measurments and the provided chart...it is gigantic.... the arms come very well past my mid-knuckles and the arms are incredibly loose in the cuff with no way to cinch them down, there is elastic there but it is wofty, it makes it impossible to fold a decent cuff to hide the alien arm length. the torso is baggy, the neck as well...i could wear, no joke, two or three heavy weight sweaters under it and a knitted scarf inside the neck. it’s a quality product just huge.....except the length is spot on, like denim jack length, certainly not mid thigh.. more hip/panty line. i am kindof small, usually wear small, saw it ran large but i have been feeling pudgy so i ordered to size...wrong...but i cannot return for extra small, no time, need immediately, i hope it keeps me warm. that is another thing! my son’s is heavier weight, still thin, same material, same fleece inside but heavier weight.... why, why, why can women not have sturdy clothes to, at least it has pockets..... it is a great jacket...it is fun to just turn the faucet on and watch the water cascade off, the deep red is less berry or burgundy, but very pleasing, will match well with neutrals, certainly not pink as one reviewer mentioned....more muted burdundy with minimal haze of perhaps violet, ok actually but won’t match oxblood, burgundy, deep red etc...like a propreitary color...help for sizing... in jackets i wear 4, small, shirts small to medium in adult brands as different from young lady/junior brands. 5’4” 125-130 lbs, hourglass to pear... if i had more time i would either return and buy extra small or have the silly sleeves tailored. i will wear it open as much as possible because it looks a bit funny so big.

Perfect fall jacket!
This jacket is perfect for our fall weather in New England. The fleece lining is so warm for those night soccer games. This is the Kruser Ridge II. I like it better than the original Kruser Ridge. The binding on the sleeves makes it warmer and although the arms are a bit long, it makes it nice to pull your hands in just in case you forgot your gloves! This second version is a bit thinner than the original, making it look and feel less bulky. Buy this jacket, you won't be dissappointed!

Comfortable and cozy
This jacket fits perfectly. It's not too snug so there's room for a fleece underneath, but can be worn by itself on a not-too-chilly day. It keeps the rain and wind out and the warmth in. There's no hood so if that matters to you then this jacket might not be for you. I specifically did not want a hood. This is the second jacket of this type that I've owned and I like it a lot.

Lightweight, but warm enough for spring/fall in my area
Needed a jacket to walk my dog during the fall and spring. It didn't have to be pretty, but it needed to be water resistant and warm enough to wear in 40-60 degree weather. This jacket is actually cut to flatter a woman's figure (surprisingly) and fills my needs. I normally wear and xl (5'5" 180 pounds)...i ordered the xl and it's actually roomy enough for me to put a heavy sweater or a fleece underneath. If you've ordered Columbia before, you know that many of their jackets tend to run small, but this one does not, so don't order up.
