Great TV for the price.
Great TV and a bargain price. Very impressed with the light weight design and picture quality. The gaming mode makes the image from a PS5 really crisp and clear. It’s big but the stand is good quality and stable.

Flawed TV, but acceptable because of the price...
I kept getting a power fault with a flashing red to green power LED on switch on and off but changing my elderly gang of four has fixed that, I resolved that issue by typing the problem into Google for the solution. The over the airwaves Freeview HD image quality is very good. Streaming off a HD 4K Firestick also has very good image quality. The FreeviewPlay service I don't understand or doesn't work. The TV loses internet connection randomly even when I know the connection is solid on other equipment, this happens over both wireless and wired connection methods. The TV's user interface is hopeless, awful, terrible, a joke. I have to keep turning the TV on and off as, for example, although I might be solidly watching Channel 4 over the airwaves for a while, I then can't change channels or bring the TV guide up as the TV is unresponsive apart from showing the channel it's been on for a while. The TV doesn't pop or excite with Blu-Ray 4K UHD movies. Although it took my breath away with Playstation 5 Sniper Elite 5. The remote eats through new Duracell batteries like no one's business.

Reasonably priced and fairly easy to set up, with a little patience.
I had to replace an old TV that was delaminating and had slow, clunky old tech internet. The Panasonic was reasonably priced for 4K resolution, with decent connectivity at the back of the TV. I was almost put off by the reviews about set up but almost all of it worked first time by following the on-screen instructions, including the channel search. The worst part was setting up wifi connectivity, where it failed to connect and dropped the signal a few times before it eventually settled down. Similarly at first it was quite slow generally to start up and change channel etc, but this sped up after a short while and now it's quite normal. It's almost like it needed a while to wake up completely from its sleep in transit. Setting up some of the app accounts on the TV was assisted/sped up by using a separate phone or tablet to use in conjunction with the on-screen passcodes. Most of the TV apps you'd expect to see are to be found on the 'Freely' function, which has its own button on the remote. We also plug in a Roku dongle via HDMI for some subscription foreign language channels and this worked fine, the only upset being that when we first tested it, the TV sound cut out completely! A quick Google search showed this is a common issue with Panasonic TVs and the first suggested solution, to unplug from the mains for 60 seconds and restart, worked first time (memories of Windows 95!!), and so far no repeat. My wife complained that the screen was too bright, but it was a simple job to adjust the contrast via the Settings button on the remote. So all in all it's a 4.5 star rating due to those small teething issues, but otherwise I am very happy with it.

It's a very nice TV to look at.
The TV is fine I'm very pleased with it. As with new equipment it takes a while to get used to using it.

Response to commands is rubbish
Worst TV I've ever owned. Even trying to turn the TV on can be a hassle. Sometimes it won't turn on and just turns itself back off. The internet connectivity is awful and takes ages to connect (Sometimes a reboot at the plug doesn't work) has no Now TV app.

Good picture, but be prepared to struggle with the stand.
The picture quality is very good, and the actual set up of the channels was very straightforward. But oh my goodness the stand is hideous. After 40 minutes trying to get the small screws to hold the two pieces of the stand in place, but having it wobble and fall apart I was all set to send it back. It just isn't a good design at all. However as luck would have it the existing stand on my old TV slotted into the back of this one. So, a pretty decent TV, but be prepared for a tussle with the stand!
