Very simple setup, plug and play replacement for 4G router, works with Amazon EERO6 mesh
Plugged in as replacement for my old ZTE 4G router connected to an Amazon EERO6 mesh network. Set up was simple, changed to bridge mode no problem, used with EE data only SIM card and works a treat. Now gets up to 260Mbps download and 80 Mbps upload. Very happy, luckily I'm very near an EE 5G mast.

With the right network , this gadget gives speeds as good as or faster than full fibre broadband
This is a great gadget. We bought it because we have a house in Greece and need reliable and affordable WiFi. We tried it out in London using a Three data sim card and it was hopeless. For our area, apparently Vodafone gives a much better result than Three. Then we took it to Greece and used a Cosmote data only Sim card. We had tried the Vodafone sim card there last year and it was no use in our area. But with a Cosmote data sim card, the speed was excellent, in fact achieving better speeds than using the full fibre broadband we are used to in London from Virgin. If you can get a sim card with strong coverage for the area you live, this MiFi gives excellent, reliable WiFi 24 hours hours a day, 7 days a week.

Good. Just good.
So far so good! I have set it to autoreset every night which keeps it stable. It is important the positioning of the router is good along with a decent network. I'm using Vodaphone which has the best 5g signal by me.

Don’t waste your money!!
I would give it zero stars. I’ve had this for a year. Since I have bought it - it has been completely unusable. Should not even be allowed to sell this to consumers. My speed has been less than 1 mbps for download and upload ever since. Absolutely ridiculous. Waste of money. The signal strength is completely terrible. Connections always drop out. Can’t even use the tv on it. I thought I was saving money not paying for a traditional broadband plan… jokes on me. Wasted all this money upfront. And no customer support at all. Any advice on how to make this junk work?

Provides a quick way to get internet in your home and comes with a useful phone port
Works well, straight out of the box after inserting an activated 5G sim card from 1pMobile. Would have been nice if an external antenna was provided or could be added, to boost the range. Unlike most 5G routers, this router has a useful RJ11 phone port, so a phone can be easily connected - I tried this and it worked well. If your phone has a BT plug/jack then you will need to a buy a RJ11 to BT socket adaptor, but these are inexpensive. If your area has good 5G reception, then this router provides a simple, cost effective way to quickly get internet, without the need for any wiring/drilling.

incredibly fast
I’m really satisfied with the ZTE G5 WiFi 7 router. The internet speed is incredibly fast with no noticeable drops, and the setup was super easy — it was up and running in just a few minutes. The only downside is that the signal gets a bit weaker in the farther rooms, which is pretty normal for most homes. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for excellent speed and solid features.

Can't recommend to anyone who used wired ethernet
This is basically just a rebadged MC888 variant. My initial impressions of this were pretty good, it picked up the 3internet apn correctly and all I really needed to do was to change the WiFi SSID and password. Over WiFi it performed reasonably well and phone call quality using the RJ11 port was good. But this undortunately is where it ends. Although the device can technically handle 64 WiFi devices the reality is this is split between the 2.4ghz and 5ghz WiFi bands both being limited to 32 devices. This is because this runs what they call a soft access point, ie it's a bit like your mobile phones hotspot, so the number of devices it can actually handle is limited. The 5ghz band in the settings is limited to channels 36 to 48, nearly every router on the planet deafults to these bands. So no DFS channels unless you want to hack the web interface, which you can and then you can select a nice clean DFS channel. Unfortunately though ZTE devices seem to have huge problems with their wired ethernet ports, so if you want to use any wired devices this router will absolutely useless to you, as after a few days the wires ethernet devices just disconnect and a reboot of the router is required the get them working again. I tired everything to try and solve this including a very short ethernet cable to a network switch, but it still didn't want to play ball. Unfortunately due to this I returned it and cannot recommend this router to anyone who wants to use wired ethernet.
