Global GS-11: 15cm Utility Knife - Flexible

I purchased this knife to extend the set my wife had as a gift along with 4 other knifes in the same range, they are all on display on a magnetic rail in the kitchen and look great, these knives are razor sharp and do the job perfectly, but what would you expect from a set of knives used by professional chiefs. I have recently bought a set of 5 global knives and purchase this knife to go with them. As has been said before, this is now my favourite knife despite 5 other Globals to choose from. Arrived packed well and quickly.

It's global you don't need to know anymore

Beautifully balanced, impossibility sharp, this knife makes filleting fish a pleasure (well, almost!). Delivered on schedule.

Unfortunately my husband cannot use this knife because he is left handed. Very disappointed.Right handed son will receive it as a Christmas present. Other left handers beware!

I cannot believe how sharp this knife is! I already have a reasonable set of Global knives, but was attracted to this by the 'flexible' blade. I now use it in preference to all (apart from the boning knife). In combination with the Plus 3 sharpener (that I use regularly), the edge is quite formidable. I use it as a general utility knife and it can cut incredibly finely and accurately. Take care though, it could easily do a lot of harm, some knife skill is essential.

la 2em fois que j’achète ce couteau (suite a un vole). perso pour moi, c'est le meilleur couteau au monde. un très bonne prise en main, la lame a la taille idéal pour toute les tache courante et la flexibilité offre des possibilité sympa. sur la flexibilité on n'est pas du tout sur du "filet de sole" mais sur un truc bien plus rigide. breff un couteau que l'on a toujours sur la planche car il sais ce faire vite indispensable. par contre ce couteau réclame un baptême de sang :D impossible de ne pas ce couper (top ou tard il finira par vous voler un bous de peau)

Das Messer ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig! Es ist sehr scharf und schneidet daher gut. Es liegt gut in der Hand und ist nicht zu schwer.

This is a great knife at this price point. It easily cuts through meat, but it can also serve as a general utility blade in the kitchen if that's what your budget allows. There's a bit of flex in the blade, and it's size and angular handle make it easy to grip. Cleaning it by hand washing and drying immediately after use. It's also worth mentioning that it's even more attractive in person. If you're on the fence, please, have no qualms about purchasing this knife. You won't be disappointed.

Have a global set, one has walked so this was a replacement. Quality knife will last a lifetime
