Illumination is very bright in a dark or near dark room. I have this lamp in the bathroom as a night light for my mum, and it is quite bright. I really love this moon lamp, and I am thinking of buying some of the other shapes. I tested it out in my work room, even though I have a window it is still a bit dark inside due to being at the back and surrounded by trees. Sadly this lamp didn’t light up my room as much as I had hoped unlike my Desk Mounted Magnifying LED Lamp. But that’s ok as this lamp looks so good and I still will want to by more of them. Simple to put together. Takes three AA batteries.
