Old, New, Red, Blue! (Step into Reading) (Cars movie tie in) Paperback – Picture Book, August 8, 2006

Gift for a 3-year-old boy. He loved the pictures and kept asking for it to be read to him. I liked reading this story too. It’s a great book!!

My 2 year old loves it

As both a parent and educator, I love the Step Into Reading books! They always have the kids favorite characters and make them fun to read. Since all of my children could speak, I have had them read to me using only the pictures to help them make up a story! Level 1 is great for that or the new reader. They help build confidence! You know when your child sleeps with their favorite book, it was a huge win! Of course, it helps we are huge CARS fans as well!

I can never have enough CARS books for my younger grades to read.

Great book

I wasn't sure about this book based on the title alone so we checked this book out of the library before purchasing it. This book has become my daughter's favorite book. I purchased it so we had it at home and she reads it all the time. She is learning to read and this is definitely one of the best first books to read. The words repeat throughout the book and there are only a few words per page.

Very basic story (Old car, new car, turn the page). I had hoped it was more interesting but it's an easy read and good for teaching opposites especially if you have a wee one that likes cars.

Got this book for my 6 year old son to read. His teacher told me his reading level and I got him books based off that level. My son loves these books. I like how thin they are because it fits on his book shelf perfectly.
