Comes with a leaflet with a clear set of instructions on recipe and photos of how to recognize what can go wrong on leaflet etc.Since climate conditions differ between Kerala & Delhi - I called up the helpline which connects to the owner of the company who spent 20 mins and clarified all doubts. I also whatsapped them as I started my first batch and they provided further hand-holding. They also clarified the ingredients such as type of water they use for starter tea and how they make the scoby and what acceptable colours are for scoby.This is the bit that sets this seller apart from other products...they will have great success with this helpful attitude towards consumers...more power to such small businesses.My Kombucha batch came out quite nice and you get the hang of it once you start brewing it regularly and also modify it to your tastes & needs. You can easily modify sugar content if you want by letting it ferment more and taste more tart vinegary.It's easy to make and you can add flavour like use ginger or lemon and is value for money vs buying expensive packaged kombucha which tastes very sweet too and a good substitute to unhealthy drinks.

Hi, just received the SCOBY, looking forward to starting my brewing journey.I definitely appreciate the handwritten note from Raintree Organics, on a card of recycled paper. I am often 'too busy' to write reviews, but when I saw the note I decided that one must reciprocate. Thank you.
