This is my favorite retinal cream (or serum). I have the 2% serum, which I love as well, but I find myself reaching for this more frequently on my 5 retinal days. It’s a little gentler and super absorbent on my mature, sensitive skin and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, soft and very ‘cushy’ (the only word I know to use here). I struggle to speak to the effectiveness of this specific product as I’m a skosh fanatical and use multiple products in a stack, but I know my skin has never looked better and I do see anti-aging effects - plumper, reduced fine lines, glow, etc. and retinal is really the powerhouse ingredient across the many excellent ingredients / products I’m using, so I have to assume the Seoul 1988 is a big contributor to the improvements I see, and it leaves my face feeling great. What’s not to love? I’ve tried an infinite number of retinols / retinals both expensive and budget, and this is the one I’ve returned to every time. I rely on this cream so much I have a subscription as it is my holy grail retinal product now (along with the 2% serum). I always try to stock up when on sale, which seems pretty frequent, so I definitely believe it’s a really good value. I also think this is a great beginner retinal for anyone looking to try it. I think you’ll love it as well.
