I took this for two weeks and my blood pressure was slightly lower. After a day out in the sun, I ended up with an itchy rash on my arms. I normally don't break out or burn after moderate sun exposure. Then the same itchy rash happened the next week after being out in the sun again. I read that celery and limes can cause sun sensitivity so I stopped taking this supplement. The next week I was out in the sun again, but this time no itchy rash. Not sure if this will happen to everyone who takes this, but this is not for me at least not during the summer months. So disappointed because it really seemed to be working for my blood pressure issue.

This is an excellent product that I use daily. It supports liver function , has antiviral and anti inflammatory properties and is a gentle natural diuretic. I usually order directly from Swanson but, apparently, it was out of stock when I was ordering so I checked Amazon and they had it with 1 day delivery. That was very convenient for me since I was about to run out.

Pills are too big

I have been averaging blood pressure of 150/100 for almost 5 months. I have been experimenting with several different celery versions including Best Naturals which made my eyes feel dehydrated and didnt do much. Tried Celery Seed extract from natural factors and that was ok but did not give great results. Then I tried Citrus Bergamot which did ok. But did not cure it. Then I tried this Swanson one. My BP was 150/100 around 9 pm. I took two capsules of this Swanson and the whole next day it was 118/80 on both of my blood pressure machines. Even 24 hours later. It also didnt act as a diuretic or anything, didnt make me urinate, It just bought it down. No idea how it worked or why it worked but I am going to see how long it lasts before I have to take 2 more. This is a godsend.

I bought two bottles, one for my husband, one for me. We both have hypertension and have prescribed medications. It has been six weeks and he has decided he would rather take the celery seed capsules than his medication. His blood pressure is a lot better and without the unpleasant side effects he had been complaining about. I am still taking my medication but I've noticed that my readings are much better than they have ever been on the medication alone. In addition, I have had a pain in my side for well over a year that was barely made bearable by Tylenol and ibuprofen. I suspect kidney stones. Anyway, since I started using the celery, the pain initially shifted down and has now gone away. We will both continue to take these because we have seen real results.
