Love the look.
I was installing a ceiling fan where an existing light was recessed into the ceiling. The opening was too big for the canopy to cover. Painted it black to match the ceiling fan. The edges would have been better if they were against the ceiling but once installed aren't really noticeable. Classy looking.

Beautiful Ceiling Medallion
I read the reviews before I purchased and I can definitely confirm this is a cheaply made product , BUT it’s still beautiful. It does gap on the sides but for what it is I don’t think it’s a big deal. You could definitely take some time to make it look snug but it’s not a deal breaker. If you are looking for something that elevates your fan or ceiling light at a great price then this is it! We did take our light down to install.

Gorgeous when painted!
A lot of these reviews seemed to buy the unfinished version and are dissatisfied with the fact that they look cheap. I feel like I would expect that, they look, as described, "unfinished". I bought two of them to put under small chandeliers in my hallway and I painted them metallic gold. I absolutely love them. For the most part, the chandelier held them flush to the wall but I may try to put a little bit of adhesive on the edges for the spots that left a small gap. I was given one of the $80 fancy medallions for another part of my house and I thought these were a lot easier to install BECAUSE they are the thin plastic. Overall, I'm extremely thrilled with these and I've had lots of compliments on the light fixtures with them. My advice if you're planning to purchase these: do not leave them unpainted and consider an additional adhesive.

Cheap, thin, rubbish
Cheap thin plastic like the 1990s dollar store Halloween masks. Breaks just looking at it. Waste of time messing with it....

Wish the quality was better for the price point, but still would recommend
For the price point I was expecting a little more thicker of material. It is super flimsy without a great way of securing to the wall because is is hallow. Still looks really cute and was exactly the elevated extra something to add to the light fixture (also purchased on Amazon)

Hard plastic & looks like a halloween decoration
The finish is pretty poor quality. Not bad for the price but will need some finishing touches.
