It is known to have a significant amount of caffeine as well as antioxidants. As a stimulant, I didn’t really find it any different than regular tea or coffee, but I’m usually not very sensitive to caffeine. This particular tea is sourced from Ecuador. Although not exactly the same, I found the taste of it to be similar to regular black tea, perhaps a bit milder. Although I only tried it hot, I sure it would be fine served iced as well. Each tea bag comes individually sealed and the box shows an expiration date of two years from the manufacture date.

I really love the taste of this tea! No sugar added! 2 tea bags in a quart jar filled with water, chill in the fridge for a couple of days and drink!
