This Silicone Molding Compound Is Excellent!
I have used that red, "Tin Cured Silicone" for years now. But recently, I decided to give some other products a try. And I am so glad that I found this excellent product! Because it is so much easier to use, with it's simple 1 to 1 mixing ratio. And it is much thinner than that red stuff is, which also makes it much easier to mix, and to remove the bubbles from it during the pouring process. Also, it is so much less of a mess to use than that red stuff is! And no more fiddling around with my little scales, in order to to try to figure out the 3 to 100 parts mixing ratio, like I always had to do with that red stuff. But best of all is. the longer working time of this product, of around 20 minutes, when the red stuff often started to harden in less than 10 minutes. Then, as an added benefit, this product also cures much faster than my old, "Tin Cured" red stuff ever did. There are a few adjustments I had to make, like eliminating using standard petroleum jelly for a mold releasing is agent. Because this stuff tends to stay sort of gooey, where the petroleum jelly was applied to the mold. But I found out that a standard silicone mold release, in an aerosol can, works quite well, leaving on only slightly sticky residue, which soon dissipates, with a little using of the mold. And the detail it picks up is absolutely amazing! At first I was worried that it might be too limber. But after a few pours of my pewter, it my molds stiffen up just a little, which makes for excellent results. Also, it seems to be holding up fine with my pewter being melted to pour, in the 450, to 520 degrees (F) rage. So, I am quite elated to have found something I can replace that more expensive, much messier, much more difficult to use red stuff with. So give this nice product a try! I think you will like it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great quality and super easy to use! I’m so happy with this mold making kit! Everything came well packaged and ready to use. The silicone quality is amazing — it mixes easily, sets perfectly, and the molds come out smooth with every detail captured. Even as a beginner, I found it super easy to work with. The instructions are clear, and the results look professional. I’ve already made several molds for candles and small crafts, and they turned out perfect. Totally worth the price and I would 100% buy it again!

Gr5eat Bubble Free Rubber Mold
Great product I have been making mold for 20 years. If you follow the directions by mixing for 5 minuites room temp. of 70. Sealed mold bottom. Pour in a thin stream have the cup 20" above the mold. Let cure for 3 hours in a warm area. Perfect bubble free mold. Exact detail on the mmi piece. Works as well as any molding rubber from any manufacture. Perfect Resin casting. Will buy again.

The pump dispensers are great
Having a pump dispenser on each bottle makes it so much easier to deal with small amounts for jewelry making and inlays. I've been mixing this with mica powders and the results have been great. Only downside is that it starts setting up fairly quickly, but overall cure time is quite long.

Easy mixing & cure as promised in directions. (Second Rating - New Order)
I've had varied luck with other Silicone "kits" but this one, Shore Resin 15A 66 oz works beautifully! The problem with Tin cures is the 1 to 10 ratio, and other Platinum cures with the 1 to 1 parts A & B didn't mix properly. But this Shore Resin 15A was a success, EVEN with a Silicone color mixed in (about 1% color into the clear part B, then matching that weight on the scale for part A.) This was a sample pour with Selsil mold release sprayed a day ahead so it was dry and ready. After mixing A & B for about 5 minutes with a spatula and pouring into the mold it began degassing within minutes, with bubbles rising on the surface. After 3 hours it was done and the tool I used bounced on the cured, evenly colored surface. Even the trace amount left in the PLASTIC pouring cup came out easily without any mold release and showed the strength & elasticity of the finished product. This is the good stuff! The first big mold worked as planned, but I'm already on an improved version. The problem with that was in my design, which used methods based on the kind of mold you'd make if you were casting the item in Bronze. This is versatile material and doesn't need such a fussy mold treatment! The ONE BIG Issue I have now is the "push-down and twist to open" caps for the A & B. Sometimes there's not a good one in the batch but it gets through anyway. The cap for the A container FAILED, and no matter how I pushed or twisted just wouldn't go on, not to mention come off! The little wedges inside had gone smooth enough to not catch, so the only solution was to cut a slot on the side of the "outside" cap, pry it off the "inside" cap, and epoxy those two together. The other solution would have been to drill a hole through both of them (if it was stuck on the container) and put a 1/2" sheet metal screw through them, on the top, close to the edge for maximum torque (and even a 2nd so there's no way it could slip.) I understand the reason for these protective caps but that doesn't mean I can't hate them!
