Buyer Beware! I purchased this as a backup in case mine gets lost. While the specifications are correct and match my Euhomy 12v fridge, this would not run the fridge. The fridge display did not work correctly, and the fridge kept turning itself off. I plugged back in the original cord and the fridge worked just fine. 12v fridge tip: I did not like that there was nowhere to store the two different cables. So, I purchased a small zippered bag and attached it to the front handle on my fridge. I do not have to wait until the fridge is dry inside to store my cables and it keeps them together in one place.

Great length for my portable ice chest fridge

I’ve been using an Alpicool c40 portable refrigerator for a few years and the 12V plug on the original cable has become worn out and needs a replacement, so I’m trying out this Norward DC Power Cord. Connected the cable to the Alpicool and to the 12V DC port of my solar generator and it worked perfectly overnight and this morning the Alpicool is running and at the temperature I set. The cable is almost 8 feet long (7.9 ft) and is the same type of cable thickness as the original. 15A fuse can be replaced if needed on the plug, but none are included. Note: There is a bright red power light on the 12V DC plug of the cable, so it will be bright at night. Good replacement cable for my Alpicool c40.

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $25.99 with a 5% off coupon being provided by the seller.Pricing is overall reasonable and fair when also taking into account the 5% off coupon which helps make a small dent to the otherwise fair base pricing. comes in a reasonable grade quality cord, perhaps average at best but with reinforced joints as it should. About average all around and for a replacement unit that’s off branded and universal, it’s essentially what you would expect and plugs in fine. Seems to work just fine and with a handy indicator light as is quite common and a good feature to have built in for an immediate read as to whether power is being delivered. Comes in a reasonably long length and will definitely be fine for keeping plugged into the vehicle but also for camping use. Not bad overall and a small grip would be the slightly cheap/average grade quality of the DC port but otherwise reasonable all around. Not bad as a backup replacement unit as it does seem to work and will go handy in my camping box as a backup in the event of an unfortunate slick/tear of the original cable. Nice to have in case of the unfortunate so you’re not stranded with a no power situation. Not bad, as it’s handy and reasonable all around.

Pricing is overall fair when taking into account the 5% off coupon which helps lower the pricing closer towards but not quite at the $30 mark. Personally I would prefer the pricing to be well within the $20’s or less seeing as it’s an off-brand universal type unit and of light grade quality cords. Seeing as it’s not OEM and the likely cost of perhaps an OEM unit by comparison you would expect to save a lot more which is common for universally off-branded aftermarket replacement units such as these. Seems to work as it should and with an indicator light allowing you to get a clear read of the activity. I was hoping for a more heavy/medium duty grade power cables as you don’t want it tearing easily especially given the application and likely exposure to the elements. Some better graded power cables and overall better quality build is warranted. Otherwise fitted ends work and fit appropriately but be sure this replacement unit is a compatible fit. I can’t vouch for every model it’s supposed to work with but seems to work decent with mine. Not bad but not the best quality I would be hoping for.
