A decent no frills metal box with shelves in which to smoke whatever you desire. The item was superbly packaged...a box, within a box, within a box and every individual item (this is a build it yourself kit) was further packaged safely with more card and paper. There is no way this gets damaged in the post...if there is damage (there wasn't) then it originated in the factory. The assembly instructions are clear enough and every individual part comes labelled to identify it and also has a directional arrow pointing to the top or front of the cabinet. Assembly is relatively straightforward but can be somewhat fiddly initially, as you try to hold panels which are fairly flimsy in position, whilst you try to get a small screw threaded in to the appropriate hole. Once you have a couple of sides in place though it is a bit more stable and becomes easier to work on...should take no more than 15 minutes to put together....the only tool required is a Phillips screwdriver. Just note that the panels are quite thin and can have sharp edges which can draw blood if you catch yourself. Overall....decent enough...not had a chance to use it yet but that doesn't matter....its a box inside which you can burn/smoulder some wood dust....not much to go wrong really.

It just good for your job. If you want to smoke some meat then you need this item. Not to big not to small just perfect

This smoker is far bigger than I had thought ( I know sizes ate stated) . The build quality is extremely good and putting g it together is very straightforward. Using the ProQ smoker and wood chips it produces consistant high quality smoke for 6 to 8 hours. So far I have only used for smoking cheese, but this has turned some extremely cheap bland cheddar into an amazing artisan cheese that smells absolutely awesome 👌 I am going to start making my own bacon 🥓 very soon and have plans to smoke some salmon in time for Christmas. Honestly this cold smoker is so bloomin good 👍 well done ProQ 👏

I read a few reviews of this and they all said it comes all ready assembled so I was a bit out out when it came in bits and with no instructions that's why I only gave it 3 stars otherwise it would have been more.

Extremely flimsy until assembled, assembly is easy but do read the instructions!! As you may need to dissemble and put in the correct order! my ProQ cold smoker surprisingly does not fit in the guide “designed” for it, which is annoying. The smoker works well. Thus far worked well.

Plastics handle melted and door fell off after 2 weeks not recommended

Easy to assemble. Works very well with small pieces of fish and duck.

This is the worst smoker I've ever seen parts broken, missing hinges where the doors need to be hung, bends in different corners. And by the way this is the second one in 2 weeks that I have returned. I don't recommend this product, Amazon tried to bribe me to keep it and they will give me a partial credit for less than $45 dollars when the smoker cost me $208.

Premier fumoir vertical et je ne suis pas déçu. Le colis est arrivé bien emballé et aucune pièce n'était déformée. Ne pas oublier de mettre de la glace en bas sinon la plaque pleine chauffe a plus de 45°et c'est trop pour le fumage a froid
