A beautiful, powerful and easy-to-use and set up monitor from BenQ
I bought this BenQ 27” monitor for my photography and work projects. It is a fabulous monitor. My old Apple Studio monitor finally died and I wanted to find a less expensive new monitor with better connections to my MacBook Pro including better color profiling options. The BenQ met all my expectations and more. It is easy to set up and connect directly to my laptop. The 90 watt USB C connection powers your laptop and other devices. It just works easily and gives you a beautiful display with their advanced matte screen. I was leery of a matte screen, but it’s gorgeous. Images and text look very sharp with advanced display options with downloadable software from BenQ. And the price is great compared to an Apple Studio monitor.

Very nice!!
I work as an illustrator and I bought this monitor as I replaced my intel iMac with a Mac Mini. I was worried about how well this would match up to Apple’s gorgeous monitors but I am happy to say I really love this BenQ! The color matches well with my Wacom Cintiq, there’s no reflection glare, and the monitor overall feels nice and sturdy. The silver color also matches my Mac mini m4 very nicely. If anyone is making the jump from an iMac to a Mac mini this is definitely a good monitor to get! I’ve been using it for almost two weeks now with no complaints. :)

Color match, small footprint, connections
Excellent monitor for my MacBook Pro M4 Pro! I needed a monitor for when I am using my MacBook at home but didn't want to pay the steep price for the Studio Display from Apple. After doing some research, I chose to go with the BenQ and it was an excellent decision! Great color match, and very minimal footprint on my desk. I rest my MacBook on the tapered bottom plate, which works perfectly. Very happy with my purchase!

Good Monitor for the price.
This monitor was a good buy for the price. It advertises as a Monitor for Mac computers. I watched many YouTube videos on monitors and this one fit my needs and price point. I am using this monitor mainly for photo editing with my new Apple -Mini Mac-M4 and I attach my Apple Power Book Pro to the monitor also. I would recommend this monitor, especially if you're looking for a quality 4K monitor under $500.00.

Works seamlessly with my M4 Mac Mini
RE: MA270UI researched a number of monitors to go with my newly-purchased M4 Mac mini but chose BenQ's MA270U because it checked all my boxes. The color representation is very good and it recognized my Mac Touch ID keyboard and all of its function keys straight away. I came to love having Touch ID with my previously-owned iMac and would never have a system without it. The only slight nitpick I have is that it takes 3-4 seconds for the monitor to activate/recognize my mouse after leaving the Mini for the screen time setting I established via my Mini. I love how easy it is to raise up or down, right or left or vertical, none of which was possible with my previously owned iMac. Set up was a breeze which was also greatly appreciated because, like I dare day most of you, of the countless hours I spent over the years talking to any number of companies customer service reps (if you could reach one) trying to get peripherals to work as advertised. In short, I'm very happy with the decision I made and would buy it again without hesitation.Hope this helps

Bottom line is...
I replaced a 2020 iMac (w/ 5k retina display) with a new Mac Mini M4. To make this switch, you need to buy a new monitor. The problem is, how to replace a 5k monitor without spending too much. Buying a cheaper 4k monitor is the solution that many choose.I bought this BenQ MA270U 27” 4K as the most recommended. It's pretty much exactly as advertised.I am a writer and my main worry was that leaving the 5k for 4k would be disappointing and noticeably different for reading text. I briefly had the two monitors side by side while transferring my files. I definitely could see the difference like that. The 5k iMac is an exceptional monitor for sure. But, it wasn't too different. Honestly, after about an hour with the new monitor and the 5k iMac gone…? I can't remember the difference. I know it was slightly better before, but it's not that big of a deal and im used to it now.So, bottom line: Yes there is a slight difference in image quality. But, no, it's not that significant. As someone who works with and reads text all day long, I'm happy with this monitor for 1,000 dollars less than an Apple 5k display.Good purchase.
