Went right to work!!
So, although I have only used the Wybot C1 only once this weekend it performed flawlessly. My previous model was a Dolphin Nautilus that lasted me 7 1/2 years, and I am in the process of repairing that model, and wanted something in the midterm to clean the pool. Didn't want to spend a fortune on some of the robot models that are over 1k, and got a great deal on the C1 at $399 on special. I downloaded the app after receiving the unit from Amazon, simply plugged the unit into the wall outlet to charge, took about an hour, but I'm sure it was already partially charged from the factory, so charging speed I cannot give an accurate timeline, but I would say 2-3hrs tops. I then pushed the power button on the unit and tossed it in the pool and it went to work. I have a kidney shaped in ground pool, around 12 x 30ft. Not a huge pool, but it is caged and we still get insects and plant material from our potted plants around the pool in the pool. This time there was a ton of sand in the pool from having our pavers resealed here in FL. I didn't watch the robot the entire time (approx 2 hrs it ran so battery life seems impressive) but after retrieving the robot from the pool the filter basket no lie was half full of sand. It did an amazing job grabbing sand and pollen as pollen is crazy right now in FL. Again longevity is the key to a good purchase and time will tell, but I did also purchase the 3 Yr Asurion coverage through Amazon should I have any failures for an extra $60 for a total of $460. The unit was on special and is usually $499 so I feel good about the purchase and value for the money. The robot did a great job climbing walls and it scrubbers scrubbed the water line. It's LED on the front lets you identify if it is charged, ready to deploy and when it is out of battery. It did come with a hook that you have to put on a standard mop stick, broom stick. I just used an old metal painting extension pole I had and used a self tapping screw to add the hook. The unit is pretty easy to grab after using the hook/stick. The unit itself is not that heavy compared to my previous model when full of water, but still a little heavy. I am male, 47yrs old and in decent shape for reference. I do hope this review helps anyone else making a decision as I spent hours looking at all the models online and whether to go with corded or battery powered unit, but finally decided to try it. All in all so far so good, simple setup, simple app, a truly set and forget robot for a small to medium sized in ground pool. I will say I don't know (as again I didn't watch it every second) if it got all spots in my pool but my pool wasn't that dirty to start with other then sand being on the bottom and it knocked that out, and had way more sand in the basket then I though was even in the pool.

Great buy!
This bot has our pool looks spectacular!Just set it up prior to using. Make sure you select your pool shape. I didn’t and it didn’t do the whole pool at first. But once I set it up, it cleans our whole pool and leaves it looking fantastic.

Defective Mother Board. Terrible Warranty with WyBot....I waited till Day 31...
This is my 3rd Robotic Pool Boy from Amazon this 2025 Season so far. I'm only giving it 3 Stars because I had to return the other 2 for being so undependable. The Advertising for this Pool Boy is Awesome. That's where most of it ends, at least for me. The Good? The Basket Design is SO easy to use...Fickle trying to get it back in though. It does do a 50/50 job of cleaning debris from the Pool bottom BUT I expected it to clean 90% or better. The Bad? I have to use my 3 year old Aiper Pool Boy and this one just to get that 90% Clean. The Ugly? After one week of only using this Pool Boy in FULL AUTO Mode (Both Wall and Floor), I had to do the Bluetooth thing and program it to ONLY clean the floor. Why? It was spending SO much time cleaning the Walls that it ran out of power by the time it started to Clean the Floor. Also, like the other 2 New Pool Boys this one seems to pretty much ignore the advertising and go where it wants when it wants....No N Patterns. No Z Patterns. No S Patterns. Not quite as bad as the first 2 but I'm sick and tired of sending these things back to Amazon. The UGLY? 30 Day Return Policy for both Amazon and WyBot. I gave up and Day 32 and OMG...Awful Experience. WyBot Customer Service is offering me $250 Cash (50%) of my Cost NOT Including Tax OR I can Send it back and get a Refurbished Model and Start all over again. This morning? Day 41, I tossed it in the Pool with a FLOOR Only Setting and it started floating around the surface for 10 minutes shooing a Waterfall out of the Ejection Port. Wow...NOW? It's Climbing the Walls again even though my BT Iphone Setting clearly shows FLOOR only.... WARNING TO ALL CONSUMERS...I have bought 3 New Robotic Pool Boys in the past 3 Months and ALL 3 have had Defective Mother Boards....JP in Pensacola

Works great
Works as described, make sure to check the app settings BEFORE you put it in the water. Cleans the pool well, usually run every other day floor only. Once a week walls/floor.

Doesn't solve every problem, but worth it anyhow
I rarely review and this is my first robot pool vacuum. We have a very large pool (almost 40,000 gallons) and my husband spent WAY too much time with daily cleaning, scrubbing, vacuuming and adding expensive chemicals. Even with all that, we could barely keep on top of it before dreaded algae seeped in. But as my husband is always skeptical and frugal, he resisted a robot vac. I finally bought him one as a gift.We started in the hardest time of the year... spring. So much pollen, seeds, leaves, June bugs, etc. It's a constant battle. At first, I was very disappointed in the robot vac. It collected silt, but not leaves or debris. It also seemed to spend WAY too much time pausing and thinking, moving only a few feet, then pausing and thinking some more. It was spending more than half the time pausing and thinking, without actually cleaning. I was ready to send it back. But then I started playing with the settings on the Wybot app. Eventually when I chose "full standard pool" cleaning cycle, it started to work so much better. It does the whole pool, and gets leaves and debris and gunk.My husband loves it now and only has to do some slightly deeper scrubbing or vacuuming every other week. It won't solve all of your cleaning issues, but it helps a whole lot (kind of like an indoor roomba.) I couldn't afford anything fancier, but I think this does a good job for the price. And I love that it scrubs the water line, which is always a pain. Overall, our pool looks way better with way less work on our part.
