Definitely a learning curve. First two times I used, I was disappointed. Even following directions and making sure it was heated and greased. But once you figure the ratio of heat and oil or butter, it works great. Even after burning scrambled egg to it second time used, it cleaned up well. It's becoming a favorite pan.

I have been a Tfal user for long time and have been satisfied using their products. This pan unfortunately missed the mark. Everything sticks to this pan. It's not nonstick by along shot. It looks like a hex clad style pan but is does not perform like one. Tfals ultimate pans work much better. If you are looking for a hex style pan order the original.

I chose this pan due to the good reviews. I have another brand pan with similar mesh interior that I like very much but was unable to get in the size I needed so I decided to try this T-fal one. First use, coated the pan with butter and made an omelette and it stuck like crazy. I was very unhappy. Second use, I coated it with Pam spray and I had no issues with sticking at all. While I try to limit my use of non-stick sprays, it seems like it is necessary to use with this pan. I also think this pan works better with lower heat settings. It did work well on my induction cook top and on the day the omelette stuck to the pan, it cleaned up very easy.
