Great for use as a cheese board, serving tray, cake stand, house warming gift or even just as beautiful home décor as a centerpiece. With our solid hardwood boards, the possibilities are endless! At Man Made Woods, preserving nature is everything. The production process is completed with great respect to nature, we do not cut any trees to produce these boards rather salvage the naturally fallen trees. We slice each one up into 1/2” thick boards which are then hand sanded and planed completely smooth. Then we coat the bottom/bark with a layer of food grade vitamin E oil to protect and preserve the finish. The top cutting surface is coated with 3 additional coats of food grade butcher block conditioner/oils that include natural waxes and are also enriched with vitamin E.
