Great vacuum bell (if you use it)
I absolutely love my vacuum bell. I wish I had started using it years ago. It actually is helping me with my NDPH (nonstop headache). It's also improving my posture and reducing my heart rate. Regarding the plastic piece that can jab the skin, I simply keep a piece of sports tape on my chest where it would hit it and it prevents it from irritating my skin.

Not for women with bigger breasts for sure
Oval one definitely doesn't work for women with breasts. Returning it so I can find a different shape. I wish the descriptions for these were better. It looks sturdy and probably would have worked for someone with a flatter chest.

Quality Vacuum Bell
Surprisingly pleased w/ the build quality. Material is super comfortable on my skin as well. Mine came with a digital gauge also. Excited about that A+

PLease note this
My son is using this every night, it seems to be actually helping, but if I were to order again, there is a part on this particular one that digs in his skin, so he has to use bandages or medical tape as a cushion - I should of purchased one that protects or won't dig - other than that - we are managing it and it does seem to be working.

Great concept just needs refinement
This device could be great if it wasn't for this one defect. This device takes a while to get used to you may have to use it 50 times before you actually get the vacuum suction just right on your chest without air slipping through to be able to pump it up and where you can actually feel the deep pit of your chest rising. I got it to work several times and I could feel a difference and it seemed like it really helped.I am 68 years old I had the full surgery back when I was 15, after being beat up and teased for years at school.I endured 11-hour operation back in the early 1970s.In the last few years though I felt such pressure in the pit of my chest like it was caving back in .Wearing a bra was simply out of the question I just felt like I was being strangled and like somebody had punched me hard in the pit of my chest even breathing became really painful when I would breathe deep.I talked to several surgeons but no one would do the procedure since I'm over the age of 50. That's when I got on Amazon and just typed in the words pectus Excavatem and this device popped up which I had never heard of all these years no doctor had ever mentioned it to me, which seemed crazy.I really think that this could work especially on someone younger where their bones are not as petrified as mine LOL. It's just this hard plastic pointy air end that make this device just painful to use. There's got to be a softer end piece to make this more desirable to actually want to use. I have experienced hopeful feeling that this was working but the end piece, maybe I will try to attach my own piece of tubing that is soft yet will still work.I hope this was helpful and I hope that the company actually reads this review where they could modify their device to make it more comfortable for the patient to use daily.
