Very pleased.
I’ve used it daily for the past 6 months. Easy to use, Boils water really fast on the power boost mode, Cleans well and hasn’t stained when water boils over, Cools fast when pans are removed, shuts off automatically if pans are removed for too long, and like the multiple burner sizes. Can’t beat the price compared to other name brands.

Works Great!!!
I still can't believe the low cost of this stove top. I waited to write a review because I didn't have high expectations. But we have had it for several months now and have zero complaints. The noise isn't loud, it is just different and not what you are used to hearing when you turn it on. But in no way disruptive. I was also worried I'd have to learn to cook some things all over again, because it does heat up fast. This is a little true, but bad. Oil for frying, for example, I just work on a setting or two lower than I used to with regular stove tops. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful upgrade
Easy to install and the wife loves the added space, flexiblity, and large center heating element. The touch controls are easy to use and understand. It has plenty of power to cook multiple dishes simultaneously.

Great design, hope it lasts
Took a risk and bought this before it had any reviews. I did not see any noticeable quality difference between the glass top Frigidaire electric cook top it replaced. The wiring all looks up the code and matched the existing unit I had. The cooktop installed smoothly. If the spacers that attach to the sides are a bit of a challenge the get lined up when dropping the unit into place, just try and prebend them a little. It really will not work with any pots and pans that do not pass the magnet test. I had some cheap "cast iron" that was gifted to me and it would not work on them - I checked with a magnet, and I guess they are made of aluminum or something. Just check your pots or do like I did and order nice ones with the cost savings of this unit over something from the big box stores. I had no issues with the interface, it is very straight forward and the manual it is very well done with pictures and clear instructions on the basic functions. It is as simple as - press the burner symbol and the press the number on the number pad - super simple. I even got the timing function to work for turning the burner off after a set time. While induction is known for boiling water quickly, I was worried about the smoothness of low temperature operation. On my previous electric cooktop it would cycle once every 10-20 seconds full heat /no heat to achieve lower temperatures - this caused all kinds of trouble and it was just about unusable. On the BiGoods unit the heating is extremely smooth, better than the newer gas cooktop I last used that had 3-4 steps of heat to choose from and where you had to match the burner to the use case and pot. Here I can use any burner and dial it in easily. The simmer button is also very useful. I will point out that it will heat metal handles if you place a small pot on the large burner where the handle is in the burner heating area, but it did not seem to get near as hot as the bottom of the pan - just something to watch for. When heating the unit does make humming noises and the sound of a fan or something comes on as well. Not loud and not really a bother, I find it useful as you can tell that it is working. Overall I an very happy and would recommend this product. The price is low enough that even if it goes out early the cost the replace is still low. If this lasts for 5-10 years I would be ecstatic, but if it only lasts for 2 it is still a better deal than paying 5 times the price for a more well known brand.

A little less than perfect, with a 3-digit timer that only beeps.
Update #4: 12/01/2025 The cook-top continues to work just fine -- except after cleaning, -- wiping a cloth and cleaning spray (409 etc) it starts to lose it's brains and show all manner of random things lit up. Mostly it sorts itself out after 10 or 15 seconds, but lately we have had to reset it (off-wait-on) at the mains power box. Overall though, we are very happy with it and would add a half-star if we could. Update #3: 07/01/2025 MY MISTAKE. PLEASE IGNORE UPDATE #2 Update #2 showed a 1.43-Amp load after all elements were off. BUT -- after 2-minutes and 30-seconds the system does drop the high stand-by current to about 0.03-Amps. The electrician was a little too hasty with the first report. I heard it click a while after it had been "all-off" and got him back for a timed check. Sure enough it drops the current at 2m:30s. The no-pan thing (UPDATE #1) has not returned so I am upping the stars to 4. We love this thing. Update #2: 06/30/2025 -- DELETED MY MISTAKE. PLEASE IGNORE UPDATE #2 Update #1: 05/31/2025 I can't seem to drop the Star-count to 3. Dang it, before the ink was dry on the first review, the right front "burner" began intermittently showing the "no-pan" icon and not cooking at level 4. Moved the pan around to make sure it was in the circle, nothing, moved to another burner and it cooked fine. Got to CS Chat and after almost half an hour, spent mostly waiting, they decided to send a replacement pronto. Called the Electrician, old removed, new installed. Problem solved. -- Well it was until breakfast this morning. Different frying pan and Right front again iffy on working. Alternating every few seconds between finding the pan and not finding it, but it eventually cooked the eggs. Very disappointed as we will have to drop that burner as we can't trust it to keep cooking. The other three have so far worked fine. Seems like a manufacturing "feature" for forced Simmer. {grin} We had tossed the old stove, so will keep this one as we **really** like the Induction process. Great price and even with the fake Timer and iffy-burner it will still suit or needs. We will give the other burners a bit of a workout before the 30-days are up, but danged disappointing. *********************** Original review: 05/28/2025 I had this in the "Save Later" cart for months. Finally it dropped to $276 so I pulled the trigger. It arrived in 2-days, extremely well packed and no damage. A rare thing out here in the boonies where rough dirt roads abound. Easy to install and hook up and had numbers showing in no time at all. Then I tried to fry eggs. The granularity of the power-control is not great. First off it uses "bang-bang" heating a term used to describe methods of heating. It means full-on for a while then totally off for a while. Changing the duration defines the average temperature. It turns on and waits until the set-temperature is met and then turns off. Then it waits until the temperate drops below the set and turns on again. This seems OK, but there is overrun in both directions. It exceeds the set on the way up and falls below the set on the way down. OK for a pot of stew, not so good for eggs. The alternate method is known as PID, a bit technical to describe , but basically it learns from each on-off cycle how long each cycle should be, so in about 5-cycles (maybe a minute or so) it holds an exact temperature. But other than that we love it. The Timer issue is weird here, all but this one brand that I could find had 2-digit timers for 99-minutes so no slow cooking there. This has 3-digits and a 10-hour maximum limit. Awesome -- well almost. The timer does nothing. other than beep. That is useless. If we need to be able to hear it for a 3-hour slow cook then we really don't need a timer. The timer should turn off the plate or the entire stove. I'd be OK with that, but as beep? Totally inane and useless.

Bought in February and it is working great.
I bought this back in February 2025 and it has performed very well according to my wife. It cleans up easily and there have not been any problems with it. At this price, I was able to afford an extended warranty as well. I would recommend this cooktop to anyone wanting to save some money and start enjoying cooking again.
