GREAT scooter, great buy, and great company customer service!
The media could not be loaded. Overview:I really love this scooter, like genuinely. I love it so much that I bought a second one after my first S2 was stolen. I have bought 3 scooters through Hiboy, the first being my NEX scooter which was a discontinued model, so when I damaged that one (my fault 100%) I decided to move to another great Hiboy scooter, the S2. I did this because I had wonderful experiences with their kind, clear and attentive customer service representatives (via email), so I wanted to stay with the company for sure. For this reason and quality of product, I think Hiboy is the best of the up and coming eScooter companies.Anyway, this is a stellar scooter. It's not extremely pricey like the Segway Ninebots or as cheap and slow as other brands like Gotrax and Hover. In fact, having used the various rentable Bird and Lime scooters a lot before this purchase I think I like the feel of the S2 more. So it's an affordable elevated quality scooter. I attached a pretty detailed video of a general overview of the scooter, and what I like, so definitely watch that. (In the video I referenced putting up a 2nd video to show how it folded and unfolded, but turns out I can't upload 2 videos. Just know that folding and unfolding is totally easy. I said it is tight, and it is, but I'd rather the folding mechanism be a little tight as it is on mine, than loose). Also, another broad overview aside I didn't mention in the video is that I like that for the charger, there’s a little light that goes from red to green when it's charged, so you don't overcharge it.If you have issues:When you open the manual it details the quick start info (how to put it together which consists of a few screws and an electric plug in) and in big letters it says if you have any problems please contact the company. Definitely do, like I said they have great customer service and are very willing to send you parts and even videos with how to replace parts/adjust the scooter (at least they did with my NEX scooter, can't imagine that has changed). My type of use:My commute is only about 2 flat miles round trip most days of the week, so I cannot speak to long distance commutes and how it would hold up. But as I said in my video it definitely reaches 18-19 mph, so if that's accurate to advertisement I see no reason why the distance it can reach isn’t close. In fact, since I bought it, I haven't had to charge it yet from the initial charge (have not used it that constantly though to be honest!). It has a nice bit of oomf from stop and doesn't really need any kicking to get it going (again I'm on flat roads). It's perfect if you're a college student on a big campus, live off campus (my use), or other urban & local roads commutes. Its size and speed makes it perfect for getting to places that aren't exactly around the corner, so you need to use a bit of road to get where you're going. Some of this review is merging my experience with my old S2 and this brand new one which I mentioned in my video seems to be an upgraded model. Regardless, I loved both.So yeah. The Hiboy S2. I love it. Hope my review was helpful!

Amazing scooter for anyone who likes long/smooth ride
Great scooter from Hiboy. It has great range and I weight 220lb and the scooter was able to work great. The pickup speed was great and I didn't feel unsafe at all. It fairly bulky but it fits in the back of sedan and any suv. Easy to use with just 1 Botton and covers with the charger and the texture of the foot surface. I enjoyed using the scooter and would recommend for folks who want it easy to use and long range scooter. It also very smooth with it's dual shock absorption.

Best choice for stability
Pros: If you have trouble with balance and want something super stable and comfortable, this scooter is great. The wider platform and bigger wheels make a big difference. The suspension is really good too — helps a lot on rough or uneven ground. Battery life is amazing, way better than most scooters I looked at.Cons: It is more expensive, and also heavier than others but surely I can see that it’s worth it for the other benefitsBottom line: My main concern was stability, and for that, I’m really happy with the choice. Totally worth it for what I needed.

Electrical issues, makes using not fun. If you get a flat, plan on sending to shop, not easy to fix.
UPDATE 12/18/23:If I could give 0 stars I would. I Just got a flat tire in the rear and went to look up some videos and instructions on how to replace the tube and found nothing for the Max Pro. They give you replacement tubes so I assumed it was a straightforward process to fix, right? NOPE, not at all, changing this tire was fine until it came to getting the old stem out, which after an hour of work, finally came out but then the real nightmare began, getting the new stem back through the frame, was next to impossible. the engineering of this whole scooter is such that it is not meant to be worked on easily. I will NEVER buy a Hiboy scooter again. Buyer beware.UPDATE 12/9/2023:After owning this for a few months, I am slightly disappointed in a few things. First, I dislike how it limits the speed to 22mph. For instance, if I am going down a hill and there is potential for more speed, this will slow me down and limit my speed. Then there are the electrical issues that make riding it more annoying than fun. It will constantly cycle on and off when unplugged from the charger and when you come to a stop when riding it. Everything is mostly great when in motion, but as soon as it stops, it will power off and on and turn lights off on you or on you. It also has a very subpar app that is not very useful. It does not keep track of total mileage or have any cool features you would expect to find in a scooter at this price range. It was my first scooter purchase, and I wish I had researched more before dropping this kind of money. This is a good, sturdy, and fast scooter. It can easily maintain 22mph on flat ground but at the cost of battery life. What I DO NOT like is the app for it. First, it does not maintain or keep track of total overall mileage. So, each time you start it, it goes back to 0. This is NOT a good feature. The app has a map you can click on, but whenever I click on it, I am taken to Beijing, and it is all in Chinese or whatever language is used there. The app is awful and not worth using. I want to know how many miles I have ridden over its life. I do not want it to reset each time. This is a good scooter with bad software. It needs some good software engineers to overhaul the app, which is what needs to happen.

A good scooter for most people
I really like this scooter and I’ve had it for about nine months now the top speed is actually around 21 miles an hour and the range is maybe 10 to 20 miles actual range in sport mode but still pretty good. The tires are the one thing that I have had a little bit of an issue with and also the charge port cover has a bit of an issue with snapping off, you can get replacement charge port covers and it’s not too hard to replace the tires are a little bit more of an issue though overall I like the scooter and it has decent power for the price it’s easy to use and it’s build quality seems to be pretty good also I’ve taken it out on some mountain trails and it seems to work pretty well although if you plan to go trail riding, remember that you do have to charge unlike a gas vehicle
