Simple, effective, and humane
We had two roof rats in our garage the week before Christmas. I set the trap in late afternoon Christmas Eve and caught the first one about 3-4 hours later (not sure exactly when, as I was busy watching Die Hard). I released the rat into the Everglades and reset the trap around midnight. By the time I woke up on Christmas morning, the other rat was caught in the trap. I drove it out to the same spot and released it and have had no signs of infestation in the weeks since. Not even a mouse. Worked like a charm.

Chipmunks Beware
This trap is amazing and is sensitive enough to capture a small chipmunk! Super Easy to set up and is a great trap for the money! Highly recommend.

Cheap quality and more importantly it DOES NOT WORK!!
Very light weight and cheap quality construction and it does not work. I have huge issue of chipmunks destroying my plants in the pots and also making burrows everywhere in the garden. So I setup the trap and next day my bait was gone but found this trap in same the position with both doors open. So I decided to place it where I can watch it. I watched chipmunk passing right through it few times stepping on the paddle while passing through and it did not trigger anything. I gave it try for two days and it was not triggered single time. Don't look at the cost, spend more on the right product that works.

Works Great!
I caught the mouse on the first night using cheese balls. It was a bit difficult to release bc the release door does not slide up easily. Also, the mouse got away the first time bc it was too light in weight. Maybe a lighter spring would help get the tiny baby ones.Overall I would recommend this product. 🐭

Amazing Results - Two Caught in One Trap
Maintenance workers in my office building did some exterminating in the underground garage. This caused the mice to move to the upper floors where I work. My co-workers started freaking out when they started seeing mouse droppings on their desks. When the sticky traps put down by maintenance weren't working; I took matters into my own hands and ordered these humane traps. When they arrived from Amazon, I followed the instructions. At first I had some difficulty removing the food compartment from two of the traps but was finally able to do so. I put peanut butter inside the compartment of each trap and placed them in four areas of the office at the end of my work day.The next morning, My co-worker said I caught not one mouse but two and sent me the photo. I was amazed because I didn't expect to catch anything so soon let alone two mice. Believe it or not I felt kind of bad because I caught a mom & a baby? I called maintenance so they could release them far away from the office building. Two weeks have passed and there have been no complaints of any mouse droppings on desks.I'm going to order some of these traps for my father because he's has mice and the spring loaded traps he's using aren't working.

These work GREAT except........
These are GREAT little mouse traps. To begin with we set up two in the garage and caught a mouse in less than an hour. Ended up setting up three in the garage, and over the past 4-5 days have caught 7 or 8 mice - awesome!! (Also gross, but we live in a farming area and tend to get mice.) Our ONLY complaint is that the mice can (and did) chew the little tab that holds the trap door open, making them one-time use. So now 2 of the 4 traps are useless unless we can figure out a way to make a new tab. The traps from this vendor are a good price; for those wondering if these traps are less effective than ones that look the same but are more expensive we don't think so. The chewable tab is likely a weak spot in all.Pro: extremely easy to use, and not having to re-bait the traps after catching a mouse is a huge plus. These work GREAT.Cons: The tab that holds the trap door open is the weak point. If they can make a stronger tab, or make it metal so the mice can't chew through it then this would be perfect.

Great live trap.
I really like this two door live trap. It has a hair trigger so even the lightest of critters will trigger it. It is very easy to do releases, just keep in mind it is light weight so you may want to secure it at the base so it doesn't fall if you are setting it on something like a fence.

5 days, 5 mice
The morning after I set these out, I officially met the first of my furry roommates. Every morning since, I have woken up to another (or maybe the same?) mouse in one of the traps. I use cruchy peanut butter as bate. They're super easy to set up but not so easy to clean. The mice tend to go potty several times in the trap before I find them and it gets under the "pedal" that triggers the trap door. The included brush doesnt get under there very well so i usually end up hosing them off then soaking them in a bucket before finally taking the brush to them. Also, I stopped putting the PB inside the removable end; it was WAY to messy to clean out. Instead, I smear a small dollop on the side of the "bait container" that faces the inside of the trap. It's a lot easier to wipe off after I release the mouse and it gives the mouse a snack so it doesnt starve before I find & release it.As crazy as it sounds, I wish there was a small spot for some water, too. I got these humane traps because I dont want to harm any mice. I'd love the added reassurance of knowing they had some water & would be safe in the trap overnight.
