Le Toy Van Daisylane Family Dolls (Set of 4)

Overall, I like these dolls. Their faces and clothes are cute, arms/legs are posable, and they seem reasonably well made. HOWEVER, they WERE NOT AS PICTURED ON AMAZON. And if I had known they weren't as pictured, I would not have bought them... I would have bought the Le Toy Van Budkins family or Hape family instead.The most notable difference is the Dad's clothes in Amazon's photo are denim overalls, but the Dad doll we received had a shirt, coat & tie. (See my attached photo). I was giving these dolls as a gift to my niece, who's dad is an outdoorsy craftsman, not the coat & tie type. And personally, I liked the original overalls outfit much better... I thought they were cuter and more fun. I would have returned these for that reason, but we didn't have enough time.Also, the original dolls in Amazon's photo have bodies made of wooden cubes. But the dolls we received have round plastic bodies that make them look like they all have pot bellies. I did not like the new plastic bodies, but my 7 year old daughter and 3 year old niece didn't seem to mind.AMAZON, PLEASE UPDATE YOUR PHOTO!

I ordered these for my daughter's Le Toy Van dollhouse, so they would fit perfectly. She wanted the old models with painted faces as she didn't like the Budkins type noses of other Le Toy Van dolls. Luckily we got the kind with painted faces, just not the product in the picture (with girl in a purple dress). I love Le Toy Van and highly recommend their products. These dolls were $36 which is a little much for these kind of dolls and I wouldn't pay a dollar over that prize. Apart from that, as noticed by other reviewer they seem to be a little big for Le Toy Van furniture line, but still OK. Pretty satisfied with the purchase although your kid may be just as satisfied with any other wooden or plastic 5" dolls on the market. I'm a fan of Le Toy Van so I'll gladly give them 4 starts.

When my husband and I purchased the Daisylane Family for our granddaughter's second birthday, I was a little nervous due to some negative reviews. In fact, I purchased a backup family at Toys R Us, just in case. When we presented the "family'" to our granddaughter, she immediately began to name the people and loves to pretend with them! We have since returned the Toys R Us family, and are so delighted that our Granddaughter owns the Le Toy Van Daisylane family that was specifically designed for the Daisylane dollhouse.

Although these dolls are very cute, I didn't give 5 stars because they are slightly larger than the other budkins doll we have. They are a tight fit for the daisylane furniture series we bought with the Le Toy Van, Sophie's House. The smaller budkins doll fits much better, but my almost 3 year old daughter doesn't seem to mind. So, overall, we are happy with them.

Daughter Loved them super cute.

Although I feel that they are a little expensive for what they are I am very pleased with the family in general. I was afraid cheaper dolls might not be the right scale for the LTV Bay Tree Doll house we purchased at the same time... My daughter has only just turned two and is able to make the dolls stand and sit all on her own. If the legs are bent properly over the chairs the dolls do fit nicely with their legs under the table of the LTV Deuxe starter furniture set. The little girl doll is a bit too big to fit easily onto the LTV Deluxe starter furniture set's bunk bed but other than that there are no complaints as yet. My daughter has been playing with them since their arrival with the doll house on Christmas morn and if she can resist her urge to undress the dolls then they may last a long time too.

I was astonished, when I started looking for dolls for my grand-daughter's new doll's house, that almost all are marked as 'not suitable for under 12' or 'collector's item only'. How ridiculous! We all had dolls houses (well, the girls anyway) when we were young and there was not this level of nanny nonsense. So I was really pleased when I finally found this set which was actually meant for children to play with. I would recommend checking them quite often to make sure bits of it are still secure, like the hair, but I am pretty sure they will be fine.

My granddaughter had the Dolls House for her birthday so I purchased this family for her to go with it. She loves them but I have to say they look slightly weird! However, does not matter what I think and she and her sister sit for ages playing with them and the house so they are a great success

i love le toy van, and was supised by ow big these dolls are compared to budkins. They are all dressed really well, my daughter loves them and she is 18 months old. they seem pretty durable she got avacodo on one and i was able to sponge clean..the paint can chip on these toys but we love them and they get flung around alot!

This is a sturdy and strong wooden toy with no sharp edges. Perfect for toddlers.

They are not very flexible to sit on furniture, and do not fit in beds.

La familia es preciosa y se aguantan bien de pie, articulan,.. pero mi casita es grande de tres plantas y son grandotes, no caben por las escaleras y hasta en los muebles como las camas van justos, el mobiliario lo compré todo de le toy van que son mucho más grandes por suerte porque si fueran de goki o hape no se como hubiera ido la verdad. Ya que e comprado algún complemento de jardín de estas marcas y no muebles pero parecen a priori bastantes más pequeños.
