I had not come across these before they were requested for grandchildren's birthdays, but they seem very popular with children. You could say they're just drastically dumbed-down lego to build with - myriad identical cubes differing only in generic and featureless decoration, the sets virtually indistinguishable to the naked eye. However, to have them joined purely by magnets is a stroke of genius (easy for the tiniest fingers), and the strength of the magnets seems just right - nice and positive, clicking together very satisfactorily. The proof of the pudding, etc, and a wide range of ages seems to find them irresistible!

Great little toy, my Minecraft mad 6 year old was really pleased with this one. Quality and volume of blocks are surprisingly good for the price, magnets are strong - good way to get him doing something creative!

Bought for my 6 year-old daughter for Xmas. She loved it and out of all of her presents she keeps coming back to play with this one. She has built scenes, invented games using the characters and attached blocks to anything metal around the house! Her male and female friends have enjoyed playing with it and friends of various ages. There were a good amount of cubes for the price.

These are amazing, recommend these to anyone with a Minecraft kid (or adult). I have started buying them as gifts for my kids friends and theyre a real hit!
