I purchased this rope and donated it locally to place that has jiujitsu classes. My friend owns the place. It is so nice. They make it easy to hang by putting a hook on one end. It’s heavy duty. Perfect for a gym and will be able to take a beating. Very much worth the money.

Really happy with this rope! It feels super sturdy and well-made. The thickness is perfect for a good grip, and it’s held up really well during my workouts. I’ve used it both indoors and outdoors and had zero issues. Definitely feels like something that’s going to last a long time. I was looking for a I work to do work times in my home gym and this is perfect. It comes with all the tools that you need and it is great.

This item was bought for outdoor use. My previous rope lasted 2 years and was fully organic, but because of this the elements had rotted it away and as I grabbed it to climb I landed on mu butt. To aboid this I went with this synthetic version. And I am use it will hold up for a long time BUT the synthetic feel is a big NO for me. It is to slippery. IF you have worked with real rope before you know the feel. It has great grip and a certain flex/stretch or lack therof. This has a slippery feel that even chalk does not help a lot with AND it is way too stretchy. I would not recommend or buy again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Quality is fine on this rope, but I think the most helpful thing I can add here is to qualify that the 1.18-in diameter rope is for children. The pictures on the listing when looking at that option perhaps make that clear, but little else does. In fact, it says it's good for both kids and adults - I would disagree. I'm a veteran rock climber who has won and placed in (just-for-fun) grip-strength competitions at climbing film festivals. I can easily climb up and down a standard gym hemp or sisal climbing rope without using my legs or feet, but this one is very difficult for me to keep from slipping down through the grip. The polyester material is part of the problem there too (and while I think this polyester might hold up better outdoors, I would recommend those other materials for inside). This thing is totally fine for children's gym equipment, but if you're an adult looking for something for yourself, definitely opt for the larger diameter.All that said, it seems to be plenty durable and I'm confident it will last outside in the weather for a few years. I decided to just girth hitch it to a branch in this red oak to help my 10 year-old get himself up to the low branches. Girth hitching is a listed/approved means of hanging it, but does effectively waste approximately a foot of the 10 ft length. On the other hand, the sling and carabiner together cost almost as much as the rope, and I don't want to leave them outside.Came back to add about the gloves that came with this. They are thin but helpful as long as they last. What's remarkable about them is that they are sized for men's medium to large hands. I'm quite sure they're the same gloves that come with the larger sized ropes, but it would be nice if they let you choose a smaller size, especially for this kid-sized rope.
