Wonderful fabric paint to refresh canvas shoes!
After much research I chose Jacquard Textile colour paint in Orange to refresh my Castaner canvas espadrilles. Some interior glue had seeped into the cream canvas upper, making it look a bit dirty. I masked off the jute edging and then used a flat tipped paint brush to carefully apply the Jacquard textile paint. The texture of the canvas required a slight 'stippling' style of painting. One coat did very well, but some staining was still slightly visible and some very small white patches could still be seen on close inspection. A second coat took care of 99% of this! The orange itself is a stunning dark / burnt orange and gives a really expensive finish. The manufacturer recommends heat setting from the back with an iron - this is clearly not possible with shoes, so I used my hairdryer on Hot and focused the air within the toe box for about 1 minute. Now that the incredibly enjoyable job is done, my shoes look brand new, the canvas is still soft and wearable and the staining is mostly covered. And I only ended up using 1/4 of the jar of paint, so now I am on the hunt for more things to customise! I would certainly buy other colours. Very impressed with the ease of use and the finished result.

Good coverage, strong true colour.
Had a pair of Skechers which faded in the sun. Otherwise they were perfect condition. Though of the idea of shoe dye, and found this product online. It's easy to use, gives strong true colour with good coverage. And it wasn't expensive. But, (isn't there always a but?) the instructions say you need to apply heat to permanently set the dye. Iron on reverse they say... how do you iron a sneaker on reverse!? So will my feet turn blue if I'm caught in the rain? So I put the dried sneakers over a warm radiator to heat them...will this work? ... life gets so involved and complicated sometimes doesn't it ;-)

It is really nice of a color never really seen anything like it before the quality and paint quality overall is so good, it’s really easy to use and it’s super effective when painting. Overall I love this product would recommend a lot

This stuff is okay - not perfect but okay
Had a splash of bleach on navy jeans. This covered the "white" splash which makes them wearable but they are no longer "dress" jeans. No dye can match exactly unless it comes from the original batch made.

Coverage was great! Impressed
Nothing wrong with my trainers except looking old and drab and don’t want to fall out £60for a new pair ! So I painted this on with a paintbrush, worked lovely! Will do one more coat because I can see a few patchy bits but this is with one coat! Pictures showing one done and one not done, easy to see which is which! I didn’t seal It with heat like it says! It was beautiful weather when I did this so I sat them in the sun for the day…it rained heavy today and I wore all day with no leaking etc, so would assume using a radiator would work or I would if tried the tumble dryer for heat seal if I didn’t have the option of putting outside! I used this blue for one pair and did black for my other pair and both the black and blue worked just as well as each other! Will always use this now

great colour
Very good coverage; a little goes a long way. Still feels tacky to touch days later.

Easy to apply and if you dry thoroughly colour does not transfer.
Bought this to give my favourite Adidas suede trainers a new lease of life. Cleaned them and dried thoroughly before application. Used an artist paintbrush to apply. Dried under a radiator for two days, re-laced and wore them out. Colour has stayed fresh, no transfer and trainers look great. Shame that the soles are starting to go!

The colour was not as i thought, its more orange than pink. Also, its not bright at all.

If you are painting a denim jacket or clothing you wash often I would ABSOLUTELY choose this fabric paint. I have painted 10 denim jackets and a few dresses and my favorite worn out jeans and it looks fabulous and wears soft and comfy and washes easily. No wear and tear on painted image at all. Do it. Enjoy. Color your world.

...que la peinture ne couvre pas après 5 couches (la couleur du fond étant du blanc!).... assez déçu!
