Take that Ted Leonsis!!!
Did the quick stupid math on the arena $3 beer price raise this past season. (On the already $3 reduced priced beers for season ticket holders... 4 $12 beers for 40 games is $2k before tip & tax). Bought this the next day and haven't looked back since. Sailor Jerry's @ 92 proof will get you there plus some. Bought a second one not long after I explored this flask plus a few others on the market.... This one is hands/liver down the best out there!!! Even at the current inflation prices, it'll pay for itself in one event.....As for the product... Go for 10oz version... Holds close to 12oz when filled to the lip. Easily concealable in front or back pocket... (Larger size is too conspicuous, but okay if traveling and need volume... Ie beach) Especially if wearing a jersey. Sturdy as all F. My 280lb a$$ had no concerns with it being beneath me for 40+ games this season. Cleaning is only knock, but it's way better and easier than non wide mouth traditional flasks... But who needs to clean it when contently being filled with a 92 proof liquid.... Lol 😂In summation... Get it now!!! Stop lining the pockets of greedy owners by buying their over priced alcohol& beer. Tickets are steep enough already.... 🤷

Great for sneaking beverages into movies.
I go to the movies a lot, and I drink a lot of Diet Coke. That equates to a hefty price tag if I’m buying those $6+ beverages every visit — which I was. This nearly paid for itself in one usage. It’s large enough to almost satisfy my thirst, but I was used to a large drink, plus half a refill, so I’m on the top end of the scale. For most people it will be more than adequate.I had previously tried a large metal flask to sneak in my carbonated sodas, but the expansion of gases made it pop out and distort in concerning ways. I quickly abandoned that strategy and avoided catastrophe. This, being strong plastic, is more resilient. It does pop out, but I’m not worried about it breaking. I do have to unscrew the cap occasionally, as I walk to the theater, to let out some pressure, but that’s a minor inconvenience, and not a problem unless I overfill or forget for too long and experience a minor eruption. In terms of the form factor, it’s pretty big. Its width fits in my back pocket, although its depth is a little more pronounced than I’d like. I wouldn’t walk around with it in my back pocket, but it gets transferred there while I’m walking into the theater and handling my ticket business. This only works with a jacket of at least mid-level bulk to hang over my back pocket and cover the top of the flask; in the summer, I’m going to need a new strategy.Money well spent. Thanks, GSI! Sorry, Regal Entertainment.

Easy to pack
I have purchased many of these flasks, in both sizes, over the years. I would estimate that some of mine are 20 years old. Their shape makes them easier to pack than a bar full of bottles, and their weight and size make them a great choice for packing a variety of options for a long trip. I like to use a silver sharpie to write on the black section: Scotch, Bourbon, Rye, Vodka, etc. We have several in use. In general they do hold up to some abuse.Over the years 2 have cracked where the top of the black band meets the clear plastic and leaked. The clear part on another 2 crackled and leaked. I attribute both problems to maybe some crushing when overpacking. On another one the black band became very sticky and I couldn’t remedy it.Given the problems noted, I would still recommend these flasks over metal flasks, and will continue to purchase them as needed.

Not the smallest, but safer than unknown quality stainless steel.
I bought this for my husband but I use it more than him. It's not small, you won't be sneaking this in your pocket or small purse. But what I like about it is that I can see what is in it. I've got several supposedly stainless steel flasks and I'll fill it with my liquor of choice and then several months later not only can I not see what is in there, it sometimes has a slightly different taste than it should have. Most cheap stainless steel is made in China, I don't know or trust the quality, is something leaching into my liquor? it is harmful? who knows, this thing is supposedly made out of BPA free plastic, I can see what's in it, I can see if anything starts to grow inside, I can't even see inside a skinny stainless flask even with a flashlight, I don't want to take the chance. The screw cap can be used as a measuring device for mixing drinks for those who are afraid of making a strong drink. I put this thing in my luggage and it has not leaked, but as with all liquids, I usually put it in a zip lock bag because I do not ever want to get to my destination and everything I have to wear is stained and smells like Wild Turkey. All gaskets eventually need replacing but I'm sure I can find one when that times comes at the hardware store for the screw cap. It does have a painted on black band which I guess is for light protection, I'm not sure, it does not obstruct seeing the liquid inside.

I tried to return this but now love it!
I requested to return this item because it had a slight plastic smell despite me having washed it several times. I was surprised to see that Amazon or GSI through Amazon told me that there was no need to return the item to them and they issued me a full refund. I was planning on returning this and buying the Nalgene flask. I love Nalgene water bottles but didn't care for what looks like an awkward flask. I loved the look and feel of the GSI flask and none of the reviews I read suggested that there was a plastic taste - in fact many commented specifically that there wasn't. So, now that I got to keep this flask I got inspired to see if there was some way to get rid of the slight plastic taste. I read a few different articles on the subject with various approaches but settled on filling it with vinegar, shaking the hell out of it and then letting it remain overnight. I'm pleased to say that with an investment of around $.35 of cheap apple cider vinegar (I'm guessing any vinegar would due but this was what I had on hand), there is no longer any smell and I've now used it many times and am thoroughly pleased with it. Now, I just feel guilty in getting my money back for a perfectly good, awesome flask - but not that guilty.. ha-ha.
