Absolutely love this unit. It’s sturdy, solid, great quality, and makes my kitchen look like I know what I’m doing. The size is also perfect! It took a bit of time to assemble, but I enjoy DIY - so for me it was basically a relaxing evening with screws, instructions, and mild achievement. For the price, it’s unbeatable. I nearly went for a pricier, designer option, but I’m very glad I didn’t get seduced by fancy marketing and moody lifestyle pictures. This one’s spot on, and over Christmas it’s going to be such a big help that I may promote it to “honorary family member.”

tl;dr: I am satisfied with my item and think it was worth the price paid. full review: This item came remarkably fast and was as described. It appeared to be safely packaged, and there was no major damage. There was a minor piece missing, from the door hardware, but the seller was quick to respond and try and fix the issue with a replacement part. The assembly was tedious but not bad at all. Most of my issues were minor, and more unavoidable aspects of flat-pack furniture than any fault of the specific item. For example, you have to screw in the pegs that the cam-locks attach to VERY straight, at right angles to the surface, or they won't fit properly. There was no minor damage but many of the corners were dinged--the bulk of the item is MDF, which is after all just a thin skin of plastic over glorified cardboard. I had to have a drill for some screws, and the screws were made of a rather flimsy materiel that was easy to strip. I definitely think it is more well-made than other 'assembly required' items I have had in the past. The holes were drilled well and accurately, everything fit together well, there were some sensible engineering decisions. The back of the island is rather dull--visually it is very clearly a 'back'--but they did a good job hiding holes and cam-locks so it overall doesn't look bad at all. I think the compartments are reasonable sizes. The drawers don't pull out very far but they are decently deep--you could store soup cans upright in them, for an idea of their dimensions. I like that the shelves on the sides are the perfect size for 12-packs of soda cans. It is rather heavy, so you will need 2 people to turn it upright, but the upside is it doesn't slide when I just bump it. Overall, I think it is an excellent choice for what it is and will serve my purposes well.

Ok the delivery driver did a great job , no damage at all. This island weighs over a 100 pounds I’m sure of and they only sent 1 guy out so yeah he did good. My son and his wife built it in a little over 2 hours . The drawers aren’t deep but they are Sturdy! The bottom of drawers I find usually flimsy not these they’re are sturdy will be able to take some weight inside them. I love that it has 3 drawers ( I have 4 tiny drawers in my kitchen) I have storage now with these drawers I have a little more counter space now YAY! The width of this island is perfect! Grandkids can ride their bike around it no problem lol. My husband keeps saying it makes him want to stand at the island. The shelves on either end of the island has created more space in my counter tops! The end closest to my stove I have all my large containers of seasonings on 1 shelf , 1 shelf has the smaller containers of seasonings then the bottom has 3 bins filled with bars . I could go on tell you what I filled this island with you don’t need all that info . Just that This island has created space and storage in my small kitchen ! It’s worth the money, I found this island somewhere else for close to $200 more buy this island here on Amazon. This island looks awesome in my crappy kitchen . I highly recommend this island !!! This island has made me very happy and has eased some of my stress. I hated walking into my kitchen seeing it so cluttered now I don’t have to YAY. No it’s doesn’t have wheels BUT I did NOT want one with wheels!

It took longer to assemble than they said but it was great when finished. A lot of storage and sturdy also!
