Amazing value
Let me start by saying this: ANY exercise machine that uses pulleys will take time to set up. I'm not sure what other users were expecting, but it took me about 3-4 hours to set up. However, it is quite simple as long as you follow the instructions and take your time, which the instructions also tell you to do ;)The pulleys DO have bearings, so the other alleged mechanical engineer was lying about that (and probably lying about being an engineer too). They work just fine and are as smooth as butter.Only issue I have is that the machine will pivot if you don't place weight on the back legs. Place some sand bags or spare weights on top of them and that solves the problem. The weight storage should've been placed in the back instead of the front.A month in and I have not encounter any other issues.Tips for assembly:-DO NOT forget to use the washers-Set aside about 5-6 hours for assembly-Organize all the parts beforehand and work in a clean area-Double check that the single small pulley is in the right place, otherwise the cables will rub together.-Tighten all the nuts and bolts just enough to keep things in place as you're building, then fully tighten each one at the very end.

Great addition to the workout routine.
This product had lots of peices but wasn't too hard to assemble. It's a great workout, and then pulleys work well. Only improvement would be built in weights.

Avoid This Cable Crossover Machine
This cable crossover machine seemed like a reasonable purchase at a fair price when I was researching lat pull-down machines, but in my opinion the manufacturer went too cheap in the design of this machine. It gets a 2-star review from me because the pulleys are inadequate for weight lifting equipment and it would be too difficult and time consuming for most people to assemble. To be adequate the pulley wheels need to have bearings, instead of rubber wheels turning on bolts. I am a mechanical engineer and when I opened the two boxes of components to assemble I was almost overwhelmed. After 5 hours of assembly time, I was able to assemble the machine. When I tried using the machine in a butterfly-type exercise with about 50 lbs of weight plates, the whole machine moved due to the resistance of the pulleys. Every exercise I tried had too much resistance imparted by the pulley wheels. I tried loosening the bolts / nuts to minimize resistance on the wheels, but that only helped a little.I like the way the machine looks, but to make it a usable machine, the pulley wheels will have to be replaced with wheels that have bearings. Also, the lifting attachments are extremely cheap. Fortunately I had a quality lat pull-down bar and a rowing bar before buying this cable crossover machine. If you plan to buy this machine, throw away the pulley wheels and buy wheels that have bearings.

Okay for the money
Works pretty good but the instructions were a little confusing. the main issue is the sturdiness it seems to rock or lean when using the cables so you may have to use something to stabilize it. But the versatility and functionality is pretty good

Best purchase for home gym
Best purchase I've made for my home gym. Had it for about 8 months and have no complaints. Was a bit time consuming to put together.

Works as described
This thing took 3 adults almost 4 hours, hard to follow instructions once you get to the cables and rollers, also watched youtube videos. must go step by step! You will have a few extra bolts and nuts.Once put together, my son loves using it!

Solid addition to home gym
I’ve worked with this piece of equipment for two months now and love it. Solid equipment, endless possibilities of workouts and great customer service from the company.Make sure to take your time in assembly with the cables. The company has a great animated video that walks you through assembly on YouTube. Also, make sure to NOT over-tighten pulleys and cables.Love this equipment and highly recommend it.

Wasn’t worth the money.
Cables and pulleys needed replacement after less than 6 weeks. Purchased for our school gym, now it’s simply a $500 paperweight.
