The media could not be loaded. These little motor pods are AWESOME!!! This is the second pair of these I've purchased. Unfortunately these are putting out 40% less power than the last set, 600kv over the older 1,000kv motors, so I'm going to have to hold a higher power setting than previously.This is a 30 pound, 42 inch long working tug. I tow my 800 pound fishing boat at about two knots, or all three of our 15-17 foot kayaks at about 3½ knots. These little motors give me right at 8 pounds of bollard pull, whereas the old ones have me 12 pounds, but that's still plenty of power for what I'm doing.-Likes:-Power... 8 pounds of thrust for these two 600kv units, 12 pounds of thrust for the older 1,000kv motors.-Price... unbeatable!!!!-Flexibility... I turned these first into Azimuth-Pod drives, then into Kort Nozzle drives.-Pre-wired for counter-rotating screws-Dislikes:-No parts/repair support, you have to buy the whole thing.-No power options, you get what you get.
