Excellent. Highly recommended
One of my favourite purchases. Whilst it is sold for children, it can be used for adults too. You get a 2 year warranty instead of 1 and a free cover - and I love it. It's fast and has a looooong battery life. You don't need to load the children's software, and works the same way as the adult ones.

Great kindle
Purchased for 11 year old who enjoys reading but actually getting out to choose a book was becoming a chore. Game changer for us, having all of these books available at a click of a button has meant they’ve been eager to read a lot more. Has been great for car journeys too. We are happy with the quality of the product, easy to use and clear picture.

Kindle kids: unreliable
Started off working well but now my daughter gets frustrated as sometimes it freezes or won’t turn on. Not the best e reader

Great upgrade
My son had a basic kids kindle for about five years but the battery really degraded and so we traded it in. This one is markedly faster and a bit bigger. The screen is extremely yellow even with the warmth down. My son seems to like that but I can imagine some people wouldn’t. Clarity is excellent and books/comics are easily read. There seems to be a good selection on the Kindle Kids unlimited as we haven’t bought any books aside from what comes with for free. He reads for hours and it keeps him off video games though so it’s serving its purpose! Highly recommend for all bookworm children.

Can be used by adults too!
This is a normal paper white, just with a ‘Two year worry-free guarantee’ and a case. You can log out of the kids profile immediately after setup. Great screen quality, battery life and features!
