This is a Young Person's Game to Start Learning Real Game Mechanics.
This tile laying game adds the fun of a roller coaster. First- you need space!!! and time to read the directions. We played each round, building upon the previous game with new attributes. This made it less overwhelming as a first play. Overall, it is straight forward. You are earning points for different roller coaster aspects: length, speed, loops, etc. There is a bit of luck and a little strategy. What I liked the best: was the hand-eye coordination and visual dexterity to follow your track. I also like the fact that this game removes a stationary board and allows for a random play space. This adds to creativity and spatial reasoning. What I liked the least: my terra cotta tile floor! (haha) A table is nice, but this game would be great on a flat floor. I will say that Foxmind did take this into consideration. They added tunnels that allow you to pop from one side of your table to the other, so you don't "fall off". Cuteness points: the rollercoaster meeples Overall, this is a great game to get younger players use to more in-depth games that include planning, comprehension of game mechanics, and detailed scoring mechanisms. This is the beginning step of learning how to play all of those older teen/adult group games that everyone loves.

What a ride!
Fun family game! I like to have some games that are fun for the kiddos and fun for parents to play along with. The roller coaster theme is fun and the pieces are cute. It took us a minute to catch on, but once we started playing it started to make sense.

Decent game with good art and components
Rulebook Put together well with nice illustrations to guide you along the way. One or two minor points of clarification needed but overall good. Components Tiles are nice and thick with fun artwork all around. Really like the double-layered player boards to help keep the cubes from shuffling around - especially important when kids are playing. Also like the little wooden rollercoaster meeples that you move along the track. No issues with components! Gameplay It is a tile laying game through and through. Each tile does a little something different and the rules explain all of that nicely. However, they take some getting used to so the first time playing you are looking at the rules a good bit, but after that it flows well. It is a good game and worth getting if you have kids that like rollercoasters, but I just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought we would. Purely subjective logic to that but it is just how I feel. Still recommend it if you like tile-laying games!

Lots of pieces a little confusing
The pieces are a sturdy cardboard, but there are lots of them and the gameplay is a little confusing. I don’t think my kids could play without me.

Great fun for the whole family
Board games have been a staple in our family for many years, so I ordered this Blast Track game by Fox Mind in hopes of providing some new and fresh entertainment. In the game players compete to build the best, most exciting and longest roller coaster. Each player has a cart that they move along as they build the tracks of their coaster. There are different elements to the pieces such as tunnels, loops and slopes. When certain elements are combined on a roller coaster the player will get bonuses. At the end of the game the player with the longest roller coaster gets extra points. The rules for this game are very clear but you're not going to really get the hang of it until you start playing it. I like that it's the sort of game where many different ages can play together and make it as simple or complex as they are capable of. I also like that the tiles are wood rather than plastic and that all the elements of the game are colorful and cheerful. This game is for 2 to 6 players, age 8 and up. It is currently selling for $24.99 which is about right considering that the pieces are not plastic and the game overall is pretty sturdily constructed. It is also lots of fun and I would happily recommend it for others who like board games.

Fun Game
This is one of those games where you read the instructions, but you have to play to really get the hang of it. Yet, once you get the hang of it, it's a fairly easy game to understand. My 6-year-old niece played it with us, and she was able to catch on well. She needed a little help the first time she played it, but she was excited to try it another time. This game is a mix of luck and strategy. While you can plan ahead somewhat, you also have to get the right tiles to make the game work for you. The information about the game says that it takes 30 minutes. I'd say more like 15-20 minutes once everyone understands how to play. One thing that you will need is a fairly large table to play this on. Because of the nature of this game, you don't know what direction every player is going to end up going. One player might end up heading in one direction while another player ends up heading in the exact opposite direction, thereby requiring a large space for the game board. This is a fun game. It can be enjoyed by a large age range, so parents and children can enjoy it together.

A Fun Twist on Tile Laying Games!
Our kids have reached the age where they are REALLY into board games, especially simpler tile laying games. That said, they all seem to have the same sort of theme: roads or rivers. This is a new one for us: rollercoasters! We all really enjoyed this new mechanic of trying to build the perfect rollercoaster, and playing off each others' tiles to add to our own design. This was light enough for our four year old, strategic enough for our eight year old, and still interesting enough for mom and dad to play too. Construction quality is good, nice thick tiles, well printed, and with cleanly cut edges. I suspect we'll get lots of replay out of this game, as it's fun for all of us.

Blast Track is a thrilling and fast-paced game that’s perfect for both kids and adults. The concept is simple yet addictive: players race to place tracks and connect their trains before their opponents can. The challenge of planning your moves keeps everyone on their toes. The game’s design is visually appealing with vibrant colors and high-quality components, making it both fun and durable. It’s quick to set up, and the rules are easy to learn, so it’s great for family game nights or casual play with friends. Whether you’re a strategy lover or just looking for a fun way to pass the time, Blast Track offers endless entertainment. A roller coaster of emotions… literally!

Fun and light game to play with the family. Try and get the most track tiles down to have the biggest roller coaster while managing a total of 5 categories on your score track. Simple game with enough challenges for both kids and adults to have fun. Extra bonus points for the no plastic in this game!
