We bought this three years ago for our ELDEST. A boy rough and tumble teenager carried it through Middle School with 20 pounds of weight and a stainless steel water bottle it survived three years of being tossed around. He refuses to have any other book bag I bought him a namebrand and he will not use it because of how many pockets and the secret pocket That’s in the back to protect his phone. So we recently upgraded by buying the same exact thing but it seems to be better than the one that we had he said the zippers are different longer whatever that maybe he is on the spectrum so he notices small differences. And he was willing to change colors instead of gray we got black. When the bag came in I was sick and he made his book bag switch over which is a really big deal that’s how much he wanted to use it the only problem we had with his old book back is he got the mesh part caught on something and ripped it where his stainless steel water bottle went and that hole grew bigger. It never completely bottomed out but I didn’t want my son walking around with a beat up book bag that was three years old as a freshman in high school after purchasing a namebrand he doesn’t care about brands I just wanted him to fit in. I wasted my money on name that namebrand did not have all the features this one did especially that pocket which now I believe every book bag should have because my daughter does not have one and we’ve had issues with phones being stolen at school. They cannot put it in the outer pockets somebody will steal it or steal something out of their bag so important things need to be put in that hidden pocket that is up against the users back. It holds my son‘s laptop/Chromebook and every there are no lockers so everything he has for school is in that bag. Considering the last one was still usable it still is it’s just I would prefer a nicer cleaner look the gray I could’ve cleaned it yes but the black looks sleeker and they have seemed to have made improvement or the black it’s just different than the gray I don’t know. I am just this is a 10 out of a 10 recommendation. When you’ve got very very picky children where you have to buy multiples of everything if they like something he wears the same pair of pants to school every day they don’t care that it’s the same pair so you buy multiples. So I’m going to probably buy more of these book bags to get him through high school college and he wants an emergency book bag. Bag. As a family emergency plan every human has a book bag/bag it’s tactical to carry lifesaving emergency items.And we’re ahead of the game because his old book bag is still usable besides one mesh pocket the newer version that I’m reviewing right now I will say the pocket seems to be deeper than mesh pocket that is on the side that his water bottle goes in it seems to be larger than the last one it’s the same water bottle that he’s had For two school years in a row and it fits much tighter snugger and deeper.I used to feel like his water bottle was going to fall out it never did but the way it looked it made me feel that way as a neurodivergent person I hope other neurodivergent person can appreciate this review and the type of detailing I’m giving. And I am happy to come back with a video comparing the two. We did go with the larger size I wasn’t sure what I ordered a couple years ago size wise. I went to my orders I clicked on the book bag and there is options and I’m like what size did I order took the measuring tape and it said it was at least 17 inches so I knew he needed the 17 inch one. at pictures when trying to purchase is confusing when you click sizes if you click on the 15 inch some of the pictures are still the same as the 17 inch. So that is difficult to understand we do have the 17 inch I recommend that over the 15 inch. Yes it does cost more money but you get so much more with the few extra dollars. The shoulder straps are comfortable. They have never broken. At one point when we first got his original bag the doctor had to write a note due to his traumatic brain injury he has some health or physical conditions with his lungs and his book bag could not weigh more than 17 pounds. He was starting to have a hunch back bad posture and pain . Because there are no more lockers that’s not a thing where we live. But since then he’s grown seven in the year of 2023. I still feel like he shouldn’t be caring 20 pounds but it is helping build strength and his posture is much better with this book bag keeping his shoulders back . I do these reviews because that’s how I purchase items how I make decisions are based on reviews. My son is almost the same height as me I’m 5 foot 11. He is high-level now so I would say he’s 59 to 510 he’s about 100 pounds This book bag suits him wonderfully it is a book bag that I will be purchasing for myself. I don’t know the specs in terms of waterproof or anything like that. He does like the ability to put a charger in it a power bank. Each pocket has a specific purpose. And it didn’t change too much The outside pockets that are exposed are still well placed and in a way hidden. Still not a place to put a phone. Phones his does not go in his pocket most children I know use them in their pockets. Their school allows them to have phones. My son feels that he could be pickpocketed . So that zipper is a game changer. I have seen dupes of this book bag and they do not have that zipper it looks like it in the picture but it’s a mesh airflow there is no zipper there do not fall for the dupes I almost dead I almost purchased the wrong bag that’s why I always go back to my original order to re-order from. I favorite things. Unfortunately sometimes those things are no longer there we got lucky with this book bag. Now we have a namebrand from when I was in school that sort of useless it does not have the features nowhere near the features this book has for computer/tablet or laptop. Don’t waste your money on Jan sports. But again my kid does not care about brands I order the same shoe and the next size and have been for years I ordered the same pants and a different size and he wears them every single day he has the same pair of pants. with a genius IQ 4.925 GPA going for engineering a believes this is the best book bag well-made book bag there is. Details matter. For the people that will not read it this review is not for them for the people that need to know little details this is for you. I ordered this bag in August of 2020 as I was off to college for my Bachelor's for an engineering degree. I took a chance with this being the first listed backpack on Amazon, but it looked really well made and the reviews were glowing. also watched YouTube reviews on the bag. It's awesome! It fits a lot of things and it still looks good as new four years later. It's held up in all sorts of weather and has kept my things dry inside. I went to school 10 minutes away from Lake Erie, so it's held with wind, downpours, snowstorms, and sunny days.I've used it for both school and travel. I've had zero issues using it as my personal item on flights. It's also really comfortable to carry. Although I did tend to sling it just over my right shoulder, so the padding on that strap is a bit flattened compared to the other strap, but I only notice it in appearance. When on my shoulders, the two straps feel the same (plus the straps are adjustable - I'm a petite girl and made it fit nicely with no issue). I love the handle on the top too! I'm about 5'0" and 90lbs and would fill my bag with items so much that it'd typically be an extra 20lbs on me (yes, I genuinely weighed myself with the bag on vs off me and figured the difference lol)It can hold a ton of stuff. I carried my iPad Pro 12.9" (sometimes in the laptop slot, unless I had my 2022 ASUS TUF Dash F15 laptop, 15.6" display with me), a few Five Star notebooks, a class book if needed (although I stopped buying those after my first year lol), and my own book for casual reading just in the first slot alone.In the second main compartment, I carried my TI-84 Plus, a TI-30x, my writing supplies pouch, sometimes a bento box (or whatever other plastic food compartment) for lunch, and sometimes shoved a jacket and extra snacks in there. Used to carry workout supplies until I got a dedicated gym bag. I put necessities in the very last smaller pouch on the front. Even that pouch can fit a lot.I would say the maximum size item I put in my bag that prevented me from zipping it fully was a Strathmore 50-sheet 400 series 11" x 14" spiral-bound sketchbook in first main slot. I couldn't fully zip the first slot with this, and if I did, I kind of bent the sides of the sketchbook slightly. I know I'm being ultra-specific with names of items, but I'm doing it to give you an idea of dimensions and what you can all fit.During college, I saw a handful of other people with this bag, specifically the grey and black color, which always made me laugh since it's to be expected when it's very highly rated on Amazon and shows up as one of the first couple listings for backpacks.My SINGULAR issue with this bag, which isn't too much of an issue for me - the side pockets for holding a drink are not meant for large, tall, or otherwise heavy bottles. The times I've tried to take a Yeti water bottle I noticed the pocket was sagging with the bottle a little and struggling to hold it. I was worried that my Yeti would fall out so I'd have to put that zipped in my bag. I'm guessing it's because it was such a heavy bottle. This issue has also happened with the tall Walmart alkaline water bottles. It does perfectly fine with a typical 500mL water bottle though, a plastic short BlenderBottle, a can of soda or energy drink, etc. Just nothing too heavy or too tall. This "issue" hasn't stopped me from being happy with the bag though!TLDR; has held up through travelling (as a personal item on flights), four years of university, using it as a gym bag, all different types of weather and has kept my stuff protected and dry, can hold over 20lbs of items no problem, and still looks like I barely used it. also comfy to carry. Material is high quality and I haven't had problems with my bag getting dirty either. Get this! This thing is going to last me so many more years. I love it.

Had to replace an old backpack because the strap finally broke. This one is roomy and fits my old 17” laptop easily. It has plenty of pockets to organize things. The material is a bit stiff but I’m coming from a backpack that was old and worn. It is comfortable to carry, both on one shoulder and in full backpack mode. I use it virtually daily.There are two things I would have liked , though neither are dealbreakers:1: the mesh side pockets are a tad too small for my 40 oz stainless steel water bottle.2: a bit more padding on the bottom strip where the laptop slides in. I had some dense foam padding from something else and cut a couple strip to jam into the bottom just for a little more cushion in case my laptop slips when I’m sliding it in. I still have plenty of room for the laptop.The size of the side pockets I can live with (the bag is large enough that I can just put my bottle inside if I don’t want to carry it in my hand). The extra cushioning was easily resolved. I wavered about taking a star off for the lack of extra padding but I think it only deserves a 1/2 star penalty and I’m happy to round it up to the full 5 stars.Overall, I’m very happy with this backpack and would recommend.

Tiene varios espacios para organizar tus cosas y creo que vale la pena si no llevas tantas cosas, pero al menos yo la pedí porque necesitaba una mochila que pudiera con todas mis cosas de la uni + del gym + mi almuerzo y algunas cosas que traigo y considero indispensables. Lamentablemente no entra todo lo que quería, aun así le doy 4 estrellas porque para todo lo que llevo sí cupieron muchísimas cosas en ella.De igual forma no sé si fue mi mala suerte pero se me ensucio rápido. Intenté quitarle con un paño mojado pero quedo aun así la mancha, para que consideren eso a la hora de elegir el color.Dentro de todo lo demás la mochila es preciosa, la verdad sí me encantó. No la culpo pq no me cupiera todo, es que yo ocupo llevar demasiadas cosas a la uni😞

Es de buena calidad, a un precio muy accesible. Viene toda arrugada y nunca va a quedar como la de la foto, pero es muy práctica. Se siente robusta y resistente. La uso para llevar mi computadora, cables, lentes, telefono, llaves, etc. Los cierres corren con mucha facilidad. Anteriormente había tenido unas tres de marca Perfect Choice, y están bien, duran unos dos años y luego se rompen o se descomponen los cierres. Esta tiene mas compartimientos, eso me gustó mucho, y los cierres mas suaves.
