These are so cute. My friend is a librarian and she loves hers. They hold thin and thick hair, long and short. They are very durable. Stay in nicely and do not dig into your head.

Super cute, but extremely fragile. One was already chipped upon receipt. Not to worried about it, given the price, but be gentle with them!

Bought these as a gift and one was broken upon arrival. Unfortunately, didn’t have time to return and replace so I just gifted the one that wasn’t broken but even so, I definitely wouldn’t recommend purchasing. Even the one that wasn’t broken felt flimsy and probably would break when used. The plastic of the books is very thin and not very curved so wouldn’t hold much hair and the claw itself looked like a small piece of place super-glued to the books, also not big enough to hold much hair at all.

If you have anything even vaguely resembling thick hair-don’t bother. It’s super cute, but it’s too small for even half of my hair. Looks to be decent made, but I wasn’t able to actually use it.
