Really nice old school like equalizer and this level for crossover drops to 30 Hertz

Good: I like the features this EQ has.Cons: Extreme hiss sound. Even when I disconnect the stereo and only have the amps connected. The volume on my car stereo or the volume on this EQ made no difference how much "hiss" sound I am hearing. The hiss sound is really loud. I'm talking almost as loud as talking to my passenger in the car.I am using a different EQ ( Clarion EQS755 7-Band ) and this one has a very small "hiss" . when the car is in idle and the stereo volume off I can hear it when listening for it.I hope this is a defective unit because of the features it has. But since I use to install stereo systems professionally, my gut feeling tells me it's a properly functioning EQ, it's just a real bad noisy EQ.I am returning this EQ and going to see if there is something similar to this EQ's features.Note: When I take all the sliders ( things that tune the sound). If all of them are slid up the hiss sound gets really!!! bad and when I slide them all the way down the his sound is very little ( almost expectable ). But why have an EQ then.

Eq works pretty well,made my mids and highs come to life! only issue is the sub out channel! Even with the gain turned all the way down, I still have bass! Not a major issue but I would of loved to have complete control of the bass gain! Other than that it would of been a 5 star product!
